Golden 1 is infamous for being understaffed. They always have just 2 tellers at a time it is the most frustrating thing. There's a 3rd person running around not helping do anything. This is my experience at every location.

Kit was SUPER helpful with rectifying my loan balance. I had a feeling that with many of my payments, the extra funds were not being applied to the principal. I always pay in person and write on the note how much is to be applied to the principal. I also state to the teller the excess to be applied to principal. She did find that 9 payments were incorrectly inputted! Kit went above and beyond to fix the errors.

Always working only 1 window, disasters.Definitely will call about this place and let the central office know. The sitting spot without leg room.

They need to hire more employees, all the windows are empty and you can only see 2 people there at the window. Take forever to get assistance.

They however, receive five stars in dishonesty. Fall of 2022, I took out a personal signature loan. I was paying back every single month and then in November I received an email from them asking me if I'd like to take December 2022, and January 2023 off from payments. I said yes, wrote a bunch of checks to get caught up in other areas of my debts. They took the payment anyway and lots of my checks bounced. I'm sure they had a good laugh about that, and then in January same thing happened. They were manipulative, took the payment anyway and more checks bounced. In February I could no longer afford to pay back both the signature loan, and all my other bills that required more attention, i.e.; utilities, insurance payments, food, tuition..., I've been a member for more than 30 years and this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I went from a credit score in the upper 700s to a credit score in the lots 500s due to their stupid games.Of course they denied ever sending me the email asking me if I want to skip the payments, and they have now frozen my account so I cannot look up past transactions.

It wasn't to busy when I was there. I was able get what I needed to get done out of the way. And it was very well kept.

I have never had any issues with my atm card until yesterday. After filling up at the gas station with no problems, I then went to Homegoods. While i was checking out the atm card said declined...????? Yikes! .. i there's no way.. Yup.. second time it did the same. I called and had a really nice customer rep. She was totally baffled.. She called the card department, and then asked if I could go and make a small purchase.. and try again... I drove to Starbucks, ( she frayed on the phone).. and my card worked.. It could of been a glitch on Homegoods reader or something g with technology. Glad they were helpful and still glad we bank with them!

Despite the long line, this location is still better than the Calvine and Elk Grove Florin Road location. I came here around 1:30pm on Friday, and the line moved a little quicker with four teller windows available. I think I might have miss the lunch crowd. Other than the long wait, the tellers are always friendly.

Ethan weeks spent his time explaining personal loans to us and credit cards. We felt like we were in good hands with him helping us. Definitely will be coming back when we need anything other banking needs!

I just want to thank Kit, Meibel, (I hope I said her name correctly) and Ethan. They are truly a blessing in disguise. They looked out for my daughter and my wellbeing. What could have been a total disaster getting Finance through one company, we ended up getting blessed with golden one and with Adrian at their great partnership at enterprise rent car. My daughter and I are truly blessed and thankful that we are members of the Golden one family. They definitely look out for their members and I am grateful to be apart of that. Today, my daughter is the proud owner of a new car. Thank you Golden one and enterprise for everything.
