Santiago, Crystal, and Chris all provided wonderful customer service and I am extremely grateful for their time and energy. I needed help on various occasions and they each went the 2nd mile to ensure everything was done and carried out correctly to the best of their abilities. I was able to make some great purchases and really look forward to continuing doing business at this location. You guys rock!!!!

Went in for a guitar repair. Waited for a total of about 40 minutes while staff walked past, looked, and waited for me to walk out of the store because of closing hours. I asked for help shortly after I walked in the store and was told by an associate that someone would be right with me. Obviously, no one came or else I wouldn't be writing this review. Lots of associates looked like they were hanging out or just routinely walking around. Not a good experience. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Husband and I drove all the way here from Folsom to find that the store is CLOSED. Hours on the door say 11am-9pm, it's 7pm.... There's no sign or anything indicating why the store's closed. How unprofessional and disappointing.

LOL @ the response from guitar center. Just scroll down and read the reviews. This is a long term problem at this location and it's hard to believe management is unaware. Good to know the ineptitude is systemic and goes further up the food chain. I just discovered Skip's music nearby. They have my business now.

I would give less than a star if I could!! Went to get a pack of strings and when I got home all I got was high e strings 6 of them. Instead of e,a,d,g,b,e just high e. Who are these morons that work there? They don't hire me but hire people that should be working at Taco Bell or Del taco. What happen???? I shouldn't have to open the pack and muddle through it to get what I asked and paid for

Not all of their synths are actually set up, so I couldn't play some of the ones I wanted to.

It's a no man's land in there. No one says hello to you, no one asks if you need help. No wonder they have a security guard watching the front door. The store also looks like it's in complete disarray. Shopping elsewhere from now on.

I try and try to be a customer of this local Guitar Center, but I don't have time to wait for someone to unlock the guitars, or to wait in a long line to pay. Who does the schedule in this location? Do you just not have enough help? It is ridiculous how there is always someone in repairs, but never someone on the floor to unlock the guitars. (No, the luthier will not get you a guitar.) There is always only one cashier. Customer service is non-existent at this location. It is uncanny how consistently bad the service is. Going back to the start of these attempts, I walked a $4000 Music Man up to the counter. Both employees disappeared to look for the case for a full 45 minutes! I finally left with no guitar. The manager was working the counter and his only reaction after reading the situation was to "hold on." To management asking that I reach out, for what? Do some research and you'll see the problem. Start with yesterday, 2/2/24. Check yesterday's video. I was the guy at about 12:20 in the Foreigner shirt who didn't buy the Archon amplifier because there was already 9 people in line with one cashier. Who was the lady working the front counter for 8+ hours in the hoodie? Most of the time by herself with 10 plus people in line? No other employees aside from the luthier were on the floor. I already told you he won't help. Who was supposed to unlock the guitars. I sent my daughter in to buy the amp about 6:00 and the lines were still unmanageable! Watch the video-- you will see the problem yourself! You actually cannot miss it! Arden Location Sacramento.

Good place to trade in, or make purchases. Beautiful variety of different models across various instruments. Dont listen to the stuck up cry babys b***hing abt service and bad employees. All they had to do was walk in, check out what they want, test it out and ask an employee for help checking. Apparently that's hard now a days for some people. Great place overall.

Welp, I can agree with recent comments about sales reps not being attentive to new customers/business. I literally was walking around like a lost puppy hoping someone would ask me if I had been helped or had any questions. Very disappointing! I was ready to drop at least $1000 on a guitar.
