We had a great time staying at Holiday Inn Express here at Sacramento. The room we got was spotless and spacious. The staff was nice and friendly and ready to help anytime. Also the location of the hotel was very convenient for us.

Rooms were fine, very poor water pressure in the shower. Stayed here on a Wednesday when arriving in Sacramento and stayed on a Sat night before leaving Sacramento.

Window was broken out this morning. I know it’s not their fault but kind of is as when I asked if they have a security guard, they stated only for the back of the hotel. Well…that’s where I parked and they knew about it already as the security guard that was supposed to be on duty noticed it. Seriously, you are roaming around 15-20 parking spots all across from one another and this happens. Their security dropped the ball and let this happen and the hotel did as well for hiring and keeping the security company. Seems like they knew this was a problem and will continue to have it so stay somewhere else.

Bad
The pull out couch mattress was downright gross! There were also no linens for the mattress in the room. It looked like there was blood, vomit, or both stained on the mattress. When traveling with a family of four, sometimes you need the extra space to keep kids from kicking each other or you while you sleep. The pull out couch really was a turn off for this place! The front desk staff did pull in another mattress from another room but that was also stained.
Bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom. If you have people who need to use the bathroom during the night time (little kids) the light shines into the room.

Excellent stay at Holiday Inn Express—the room was clean and relatively new. The bed was so comfortable. Good selection of tv programs. The bathroom has hand lotion, soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, all provided by Dove. My favorite was the shower. Most hotels' shower water trickles, but it was full force, so relaxing. Yes, I highly recommend staying here. Also, great customer service. And lots of restaurants and a Sprouts Grocery store within walking distance.
