Life happens. When it does, we all want really good people there to help us. One of the family vehicles experienced an oops (please don't text and drive) when a preoccupied driver did a touch and scrape to one of our cars. We reached out to Kniesel's downtown. I have been to one of their other locations, but this is by far THE location to go to. The staff is amazing. They're patient, kind, helpful, and genuinely nice caring people. They understand that car issues can be stressful, and they truly provide outstanding customer service, and will put your mind at ease. We dropped the car off, and in a blink of an eye, it was ready. The car looked amazing. This location does quality work, hands down. Thank you to everyone at Kniesel's for taking such great care of us!! You all are rockstars.

After being rear-ended I decided to take my car to this location. I've heard from many people that Kniesel's is responsive and professional and that was exactly my experience. It was very easy to book an inspection for the damages to my car (same day) and equally as easy to schedule a time to get the fixes done (the following week). Everyone from the business I communicated with was friendly and efficient. While I'm hoping I don't have car issues again any time soon, I know I'll be bringing any of my vehicles here for their collision repairs!

I’ve been here with two of my cars. My most recent experience was disappointing. The front desk person, Sierra, is extremely nice and remembers clients. My first representative was Igor, who no longer works there, he was great. He had consistent communication and really made sure his client was satisfied.The second representative, Ryan, was nice until I wasn’t satisfied with the work done on my car. There was obviously no care in the work that was done and I was disappointed that I felt punished for being in a not at fault accident. I didn’t expect the work on my car to be perfect, as if it had just come out of the factory, but I didn’t expect it to look like the neighborhood guy working out of his garage did it either. There were splotches on the paint job, cover ups of scratches that hadn’t been smoothed out, grease inside my car, and the alignment of the outside panels were my biggest issue. They didn’t match up to the rest of my car. I asked for it to be fixed, they sent it back twice and I wasn’t satisfied. (I did mistakenly think SOME covered up scratches were also caused during the work but they were able to show me they were there before and that was fine. My apologies and my mistake.) I ended up speaking with Jason, the manager, who seemed fine with keeping my car and fixing it to my satisfaction, until he made the comment “enjoy the rental for the weekend” in a condescending “just get outta here” tone and a manner insinuating I ONLY had issues with the work BECAUSE I wanted to keep the rental for the weekend, which wasn’t the case. I also felt like they were talking to me as if I’m some dumb girl and didn’t know what I was talking about when it came to how the work SHOULD look. The final work was better than it had been the other two times I wasn’t satisfied and that was that. The alignment of the outside panels was all that was fixed in the end. Overall, I don’t understand why there is an issue with my dissatisfaction if the repairs are covered under warranty as long as I own the vehicle.I do appreciate that Enterprise will transport you from the repair shop to pick up your rental, and to return the rental, you just leave it at the repair shop when you pick up your vehicle.In another not at fault accident, I scheduled an estimate appointment. I was there early as always and usually I would be seen right away but this time I waited about 15 minutes. Ryan wasn’t as kind and personable at this interaction and I figured maybe he’s having a bad day. Happens to all of us. He inspected my vehicle, took pictures, asked some questions, and answered my questions BARELY. I waited for him to bring out a copy of the estimate and he informed me that it was good for any Kniesel’s location or any other repair shop, which I’ve never been told before. So, I said okay, and two days later called to schedule a drop off time and day. Sierra remembered me, and transferred me to Ryan who informed me that “because of my dissatisfaction with the previous work they were not going to accommodate my vehicle and also they were scheduling sooo far out it wouldn’t be feasible for them to fix my car this time.” Again, he let me know the estimate was good for any other Kniesel’s location or other repair shop which isn’t the case. I’ve gotten an estimate at another location before and ended up going to a different one which I had to get another estimate.So my issues are one, you were obviously not as friendly as before. Two, you wasted my time. Three, you could have told me from the beginning you didn’t want to fix my car. And four, why is me holding your work up to the supposed company standard reason NOT to fix my car again?After all is said and done, I wouldn’t write off Kniesel’s completely, I would just recommend a location other than the 18th street one even though it is conveniently located.

Top tier customer service! As frustrating it is not having your car due to an accident, working with the staff at Kniesel's was a pleasant experience. I was blown away by their customer service. Especially for a business that doesn't necessarily thrive on repeat customers (ideally) Sydney and Sierra were my primary contacts and they were amazing to work with. Responsive and always had a great attitude, no matter what. They offered to fix an additional item for me (unrelated to my accident) and offered a great rate, to which I accepted. They found that they weren't able to repair it but we're going to need to replace an entire part instead. But they still honored the original quote promised me and repaired it at a loss to them. I was really taken back by how great the customer service was throughout. They were better than firms who are commissioned to service me. They went above and beyond. Says a lot about their ownership, management and company culture. I'm not one to give reviews or recommend businesses but I will always use Kniesel's for whenever I need bodywork done and will send my friends and family their way!

My car was hit while parked outside and my insurance company recommended this company. I live downtown and they were right down the street, so I picked them. They quoted me 30 days to fix my car and got it done ahead of schedule. Not only did they fix the car perfectly, but they detailed it (inside and out) before giving it back to me. Because my car is parked outside all year, it was disgusting, but came back looking better than ever. They kept me in the loop on everything that was being done at all times. I would take my car there again even if insurance wasn't covering it. Also, they have a nice waiting area with coffee.

AAA took my car to this place after it got broken into. After a few weeks my car is back in the road. They cleaned it and washed it! From the receptionist to the person working on my car they're all professionals! Also very clean place

Had to come here for some body repair work on the bumper of my car. Even when first calling to set up an appointment, staff was very friendly over the phone in getting me set up with an appointment. After coming in, Israel helped me to look over my car and fully explain the damage and possible repair options. He was very honest and straightforward in his assessment and explained the possible costs but also that they would try and keep costs low and would try everything possible to repair the damage with minimal cost. Things worked out in the end and they were able to repair my car for FAR below their original possible maximum quote. I always felt that the staff was very honest in their assessment and made me feel comfortable leaving my car in their hands. Car repairs and maintenance are never something anyone wants to do, but the friendly staff made the whole process so easy and painless. I would absolutely recommend this location if you need auto repair work done! And super big thanks to Israel!

Car has been in this shop for 3 weeks. Nobody has called me to give me a status update. I been missing work can't work the jobs because no car. I can't afford a rental especially 3 weeks going on 4 weeks!! Today is aug 17 car been in your shop since jul 27. I was told i would be kept up to date! Only 1 text i have from you. This is crazy if i have to come up there im not going to be happy.

What a great staff, extremely personable and very professional. It can be difficult when you're in an accident and need a rent-a-car, have to go to the DMV, changing my parking situation in my bldg. and on and on and on!!!! But the team at Kniesel's arranged for my rental, arranged my pick up after I dropped off my car and sent me texts to let me know the status of my vehicle. They were so nice. One of the girls had a puppy named Indy and I fell in love. Kniesel turned one of the worst things that happened to me into a positive experience. I highly recommend them.

Love doing business with them, great communication on the status of my car. Staff was excellent, if I have to have repairs done on my vehicles (fingers crossed that I don't lol) I would definitely use them again.

This is an honest professional place! What's even more outstanding about them is Ryan who went above and beyond without collecting a dime on my quote. My situation was unique. I purchased a vehicle and the car fax was clean. I took it for detailing and tinting. My detailer pointed out two of the passenger doors were repainted. He told me go to an auto body shop to get it inspected. So I went to B&L out in Rancho they didn't want to help me they just told me it will be $250 to get a paint gun to measure the paint depth and a 2 hour job. I decided to call Kniesel's collision. I came in right away Ryan greeted me. He stepped out with me and he did a visual inspection and he pointed out right away it was bonded and repainted and had been hit on the passenger side! He even put together a report with proper repair quote to take back to the dealership. Long story short this tremendously helped me reveal to the dealer who had no idea. The prior owner was from LA who leased it and we know now didn't report a minor accident! The dealer did right by me allowed me to return it and replaced it with an upgrade. The dealer also agreed and supported me taking the upgrade back to Ryan to ensure no collision damage. Ryan looked it over. Luckily there wasn't! Ryan didn't charge me didn't expect anything in return. Because they have an honest reputation and confidence. Good business practice. I highly strongly recommend if your vehicle needs repair to trust these guys!

I had Kniesel's paint the peeling hood and trunk of my 2002 car and not only did they do a FABULOUS job, they also shone my headlights, which had been dull and blurry. Thank you!!!!!!!
