I have been having difficulty with this company since September 2023 . I put in a request for a battery change for my scooter, finally in late October I was able to get a replacement batteries which was faulty batteries that didn’t hold a charge. When i contacted the Sacramento office I was told that they would be out to replace. Instead of replacing them they came only for me sign some documents of service. Another two weeks go be before a service representative came by and determined that my batteries were faulty that was over three weeks ago, now I got a phone call from the Sacramento office telling me that they need to get insurance approval for new batteries when I said to them that I don’t need my insurance to pay for another set of batteries because the set of batteries that they originally gave me back in October revolted, and that the representative had documented that and they still told me that I will have to wait. I’m very upset with this company and their service.

Haven't had my appointment yet, soon. But after reading all reviews, I don't want to add to that list of poor customer service. I'll be back soon to put my experience and star(s).

You get put on hold immediately, then after 5 mins 30 sec you get sent to a voice-mail. Call back, same thing. Call back again same thing. Finally get a real person, she puts you on hold to ask a question & then she sends you to someone else's voice-mail. Call back again, wait for 5min 30sec - call back again it's now 12noon and they're closed for lunch until 1pm. Jokes on us who need mobility devices to get around.

And again my chair is broken. Same thing as last time, the electric motor for the feet adjustment. So let's see, chair delivered 12-31-22. Feet motor goes out, 01-2023. Feet motor FINALLY replaced 03-2023(total 10 weeks from order to install). Feet motor breaks 0804-2023. As of 9-7-2023 no information received except to let me know they had contacted my insurance for payment. PAYMENT?!?!?! Less than 9 months old, second time for this motor and they don't cover that under warranty?? At the same time, I told them I needed 2 screws, or at least the size so I could buy them, for the light that goes on my fender. His response to have a new fender added to the insurance submittal. Over 2 damn screws. On to my manual chair. For it they ordered stuff for annual tune up like arm rests, tires, canvas back, etc. 09 or 10-2022. Not installed until 01-2023. Have documentation that they had the parts in in December. Since they wait until January to install, they make me pay a co-pay which I wouldn't have had to since I'd reached my max out of pocket in 22. When I called them out, they claimed they were waiting on the insurance before they installed new parts. Ok just to make sure I understand, do my manual chair you needed insurance authorization before you could order it. For my power chair you needed insurance to approve it before you ordered it. For the replacement motors you needed prior authorization before you could order parts. Somehow that's the one order they decided to do a different way. I'm calling bull sh!t and if I make the time I'll see when my insurance received the claim in the first place. The one star is only because it won't let me post zero stars I guess if you want products that break easily, poor customer service and really like paying a co-pay for stuff you'd think would be covered by warranty, then you'll happily give them 5 stars, hell you can give it 9 stars, you can have mine, I'm sure as hell not using them.

Tari Grimes is the Area Manager for Northern California. She provided me with excellent customer service. When there was a snag with my wheelchair order, she resolved the problem quickly and kept me informed all along the way.

This company won't take responsibility for ordering the wrong parts. I have been trying to get the right parts ordered for almost 6 months now. They won't return phone calls. Avoid this company if you can.

Just horrible! Zero stars! will say the people have been kind to me (personally), specifically the rep that works on my wheelchair, but that's as far as it goes. Been over five months for them to get an electric wheel for my chair when original estimation was 8-10 weeks. I have very good insurance though my employer, so don't think it's that. Whoever was handling my paperwork must have left it buried under other stuff on their desk because it took me calling multiple times to follow up and remind them that I am needing my parts. The guy that put my chair together initially set it up for basic standard sizing and did not customize it to fit me properly whatsoever- he told me to get a set of Alan wrenches to adjust myself. I didn't know what to do or say since this was my very first chair. It felt completely incorrect. My actual rep finally made propped adjustments to it after 8 months of sitting in it incorrectly and struggling to get around- after that small adjustment made wonders. It's near impossible to get any kind of response from anyone over email or phone. It doesn't feel like anyone who works there feels any empathy for those of us who need to be in a wheelchair to get around.

if I could give National Seating & Mobility, Inc. a ZERO star I would! they are the WORST people I have EVER had to deal with!!! I would rather get AMPUTATED or go through CHEMO again than work with these people!!!!! they have NO customer service capability at ALL!!! they do NOT take accountability for ANY of THEIR actions and blame you for EVERYTHING. I HATE this company and the way they talk to me and make me feel. WORST COMPANY do NOT work with them if you can avoid it!!!!!!!!

Yet another complaint,, like everyone else's.My appointment was the end of March, when I selected a replacement wheelchair. The order was submitted to Kaiser who promptly approved 80%, so Medi-Cal was involved. They keep wanting more information, and I wonder why, when this is what NS&M *does*, so they should've submitted all the relevant data at the beginning. It is now nearing the end of October, and I'm waiting, with phone messages left unanswered, and multiple e-mails ignored. I deserve updates. I need a wheelchair that doesn't give me pressure ulcers, and I'm in bed all the time waiting. Not healthy. I'm angry and frustrated. Chris Orman & Jayme Adams are supposed to be helping, but I hear crickets. I hope Kaiser doesn't renew their vendor contract. (If you have a complaint and have Kaiser, file one with them, too, so this changes.)

Wish I could say I have had a good experience after leaving Numotion for here, but it's just more of the same. I ordered a new chair back in March and was told it would take 8-12 weeks. Here I am in September and they just got my order to my insurance company. I've expressed my need for power assist with my level of injury and that my current chair is hanging on by a thread, but there is still no sense of urgency being displayed. There has been zero communication without me calling multiple times to get updates. I wish these companies had employees that realized how important these orders are to us disabled people. They are a huge factor in our quality of life and as long as you order from National Seating and Mobility, your quality of life doesn't seem to matter to them. Unfortunately, Numotion isn't any better, so we just have to deal with it. I've tried applying at these companies too, so I could be part of the solution, but have yet to hear back from them on that too. Kudthere are changes made so we all can. os to those with good experiences. Hopefully,

Little to no respect to those in their care. Didn't want to even give one star. And Owner if you read this don't respond with a thank you for feedback auto response! It just shows further you inability to care for those you poorly serve.
