I love this gym! The people and the atmosphere are great, and I look forward to going to class after work. AJ is always giving me tips and helping with my technique. I’ve been taking class for about 6 months and have definitely gotten stronger and improved my fitness. There is a wide variety of equipment packed into a relatively small area and I'm always impressed with the variety of stuff we do in class.

Such a gem of a gym! Really personal help from the staff. AJ the head trainer is really cool, and a wealth of knowledge toward pursuing your fitness goals. The gym has everything you’d need and more: functional fitness equipment, racks on racks of barbells, cable machines, a Skill Mill, and even Indian clubs! It’s a small gym but never seems overly busy and has a lot of nice extra amenities.

I'm getting ready to leave this gym and I'm sad to do so (I'm only leaving because I don't live in midtown anymore). This is a great local gym. AJ is a friendly and knowledgeable coach and the classes are a great way to get in a workout rhythm and meet some cool people in the process. I'm gonna miss this gym, someone sign up and take my spot!

I’ve been working out here since January 2022 and it’s been a great experience. I came here from a national big-chain gym in midtown, which was always crammed with people, so I much prefer this smaller environment that keeps their gym clean. AJ does group training 5 days a week at noon and 5:30. He gives personal coaching at a group environment at an accessible price point. I highly recommend anyone in the area to check this family-owned gym out, especially if your goal is to get stronger using free weights. I’ve gotten stronger and more muscular all thanks to AJ and his crew.

NorCal is a gem of a gym. The owner-trainers are very supportive of their membership and are deeply invested in members' success. They--and the gym itself--are unpretentious but have encyclopedic knowledge of all things fitness (as do their affiliated trainers) and develop programming that is never repetitive and is very well-balanced.

NorCal Healthworks has something very special! The gym has so many options to get a full workout in no matter what level of fitness you are at! The community is incredible! People are friendly and respect each other's space and workouts! It is so clean and organized too! AJ the owner will always make your feel welcome! I do personal training with Marc and he is incredible! He has helped me so much in making healthy changes inside and outside the gym! Highly recommend if you are looking for something different then your typical gym!

I love working out here! The people and the atmosphere are great, and the classes are fun with a wide variety of exercises. AJ is the best and has really helped me improve my technique. I've been taking class for about 6 months and have definitely gotten stronger and improved my fitness. I wish I had joined sooner as I used to waste so much time and energy working out on my own not knowing what I was doing and without a program.

Great gym! 100% recommend. Welcoming, great people that empower and motivate you to do your best, safety first approach and best part is an environment full of laughter and joy. I actually look forward to my gym classes each night. All the equipment you could need and AJ is so knowledgeable he can ensure you stay injury free and help you work their past injuries.

Wonderful community gym! The owners are so welcoming and have made me feel like family; I actually look forward to coming in for a workout. Makes getting healthy and active feel really positive and I always enjoy my nightly classes with amazing friends. Nice equipment in gym, everything you need, and AJ is super knowledgeable on how to train while being mindful of safety. He also has great modifications with my history of injuries. I have seen a lot of progress in my strength and how I feel since starting here and my gym team encourages me and cheers me on which helps lift me up when I want to fold lol - great group for accountability. 100% recommend this gym.
