We usually visit Nugget for hard to find items and great cheeses. Today, the hard to find item was correct customer service at the checkout. I realize that this particular store has an entitled customer base that believe they are elite. My husband and I just experienced that attitude firsthand not 20 minutes ago. I suggest management provide some tips for their cashiers on how to handle such situations. Here's what happened. We were entering the checkout as the person in front of us was just finishing up their purchase, meaning, we were next up. I noticed a pencil-thin, skinny-pants, large cowboy hat, older woman strutting quickly with her cart toward us. It was clear she would not be able to cut us off, so she went into what would be the line for the next cashier and pushed her cart up to our cashier. The handling of this is the mistake of the cashier. He needed to give me a nod and ask if I minded if he serve her first. Instead, he ignored me, pulled her cart up so she could squeeze through to the correct side of the check out. The woman never looked my way to nod thanks or otherwise acknowledge me. We waited patiently, I fumed. It's not a big deal, but it is. Oh, by the way, we did find some great cheeses. Otherwise, this review would have been one star. Customer service is everything.

Came in today for one thing, a jicama. Upon entry, right away I noticed a clean, super organized and extensive produce department. Apples and oranges were in tidy neat rows. Very nice appeal, makes it enticing to shop for more. Went up and down the aisle twice and couldn't locate any jicama. I asked one of the workers and she redirected me to the produce manager. He was the nicest and most helpful. There was one jicama left and a little bruised, so he gave it to me free of charge. He also went to the back to see if there were any pre-cut jicama available, but unfortunately there was none. I was on a time crunch this time, but I'll definitely come back to this location to explore more and fulfill my grocery needs.

I've been here many times and it's a beautiful grocery store. Most of Nugget Market have beautiful interiors. It also has quality produce and products. The workers are also absolutely friendly. At this location, I like stopping by to buy their blended drinks. I like buying their green drinks. It's central to when I'm going to work and it's the best stop when I need a break or lunch. It's the best spot to get their drinks from their juice bar. The store is well maintained and the workers are always helpful and friendly. I really love it here.

There are some things we can only get at the nugget. So we are a little stuck in that regard. However, sometimes I leave there thinking: what did I even buy? My two shopping bags cost me almost as much as a trunk load from Costco. We used to LOVE this place! But lately the quality has seemed to decline while the prices increase. Here are the biggest annoyances that affect my review: 1. Whatever happened to the nugget raspberry poppy seed dressing? Seriously...bring it back! 2. In the bakery section...there is bread with roasted garlic in it...it was truly the best and somehow they ruined it! I don't know how but the texture of the bread isn't crunchy and artisan anymore but commercial and fluffy. 3. I used to love their salad bar but it has also been lackluster lately. 4. The sushi at the west sac location is better. It always has been but now the prices have increased. 5. I miss when they used to sell Etorre's cakes. The ones they make themselves are the same price but not nearly the same quality. I'm so sad! I really loved this market but in recent years I have grown extremely dissatisfied of feeling ripped off. There are select items we return for when we need them like the spinach dip and certain cheeses but everything else you can seriously find elsewhere. This market is cute but maybe a little small. Even when compared to other nugget markets. Everyone is always super friendly except for when you are short and need help reaching olive oil on the top shelf...then, no one will make eye contact with you.

It has a few interesting items they can't find in other grocery chains... but still it's way over-priced. It also has misplaced pastry. I thought I was getting a chocolate croissant according to the label but it turned out a plain one when I got home.

I love the prepared food that Nugget offers. I must eat gluten free, thus I rely on the info found alongside of the food options, relying on the accuracy of ingredients listed. I just bought three prepared items, new to me; I'm hoping they are gluten free: chicken tortilla soup, roasted potatoes, and green (broccoli or kale) salad. This is the second gluten free soup that I've enjoyed from Nugget. This is where I am going when I'm in town looking for something to eat. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon.

This grocery store has always been unique. You can find various items in this market that you might find at Sprouts, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's. The prices at this market used to be very reasonable. But after 2008 when the housing market crashed, the apartments near greenhaven became filled with individuals that were having a hard time, I noticed since their customer base now includes more EBT customers Nuggets prices have gone up exponentially. I think it is unreasonably higher priced then Woodland or Elk Grove CA. But their fresh food counter, coffee drink bar and dessert counters are great!

We just moved to Sacramento. We found a Nugget grocery store in our neighborhood. We looked around but haven't bought anything yet. It reminds me of a Wholefoods. Lots of new things to try. So excited to go back and shop!

Butcher shop service sucks. After patiently waiting for the butcher shop employee's attention I'm greeted with "Need something". Not usually picky about these kinds of things but I was a little taken aback. Meat locker drug dealer. Oh well... A small amount of customer service training may be in order.

Love selection and staff. Similar to Whole Foods in terms of types of products. On pricier side. Love deli and bakery

Nicest place to shop high-end groceries and wine. Selection in the cheese department a dream. Sushi is the best quality.

Very clean and well stocked store, but expensive products. Friendly employees. Hot food bar and sandwiches made upon request. Good food too.

The meat cutter in the back was amazing, gave me fresh raw meat. Customer service was excellent, didn't feel rushed to order my meat nor did I feel pressure. The Butcher helped me pick a nice New York steak to grill for my family and gave me advice on how to prep the meat and how to cook it. This is what I call "excellent, caring, and great customer service." I appreciate the hard work that meat cutter put in. Definitely will be back to purchase more meat!!!!! Name of the Butcher was John, who helped me!!! Next you stop by look for him outstanding employee !!

This is my all time favorite grocery store. The produce is amazing, it's consistently clean, and the workers have such a positive attitude. They all look genuinely happy to be there and always make good conversation. I am particularly impressed with the cashier named Liliana. She makes sure I have everything I need (checking eggs, separating meat, offering napkins and utensils). I always pick her line because she is super fast when scanning groceries and we always have a genuinely good conversation. I made sure to catch her name so that she will hopefully be recognized by management for all her hard work !
