I use Parkside to get compounded medicine for my fur baby. I was offered a couple different flavors for him. I chose bacon. Refills are done within a couple days of calling in. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Love this place. I actually get my pet meds here. They are wonderful!! Great customer service, return calls , attentive and friendly!! I needed medication mailed to SoCal and it arrived in 48 hours!! My go to for my pets and myself!

I went into Parkside Pharmacy to pick up a few gifting and home decor items and was very pleasantly surprised by the great selection of high-quality and unique items. The atmosphere is great and the workers are helpful. But the return policy is a joke. Last year I purchased an item around Thanksgiving as a gift. The return window had expired by Christmas. This year I purchased jewelry. Only to be informed that all jewelry sales are final. This is disappointing and makes it impossible to purchase gifts at this store.

Parkside is one of the only compounding pharmacies in the city and its centrally located in Land Park. It's family owned and operated so the customer service is excellent. Their products in store are specialty and a little pricey, like fancy soaps etc., but the products just cost more to buy in general so I don't think there's much they can do about that. I've noticed there's lots of employee turnover here for what it's worth but it is retail after all. The pharmacists themselves are very helpful and take time to explain your medicine.

I showed up today just a hair after close and was so disappointed when I saw the OPEN sign dim. However, Alex saw me peeking in and once he heard I was just trying to pick up some Children's Tylenol he opened up, gave me some advice and checked me out in a matter of minutes. As if you needed another reason to avoid the big box pharmacies, it is the kindness and personal touch you find at a locally owned store like Parkside. Thanks, Alex!
