Had appt, put me on waiting list for “being 10 min late” when I was 5 late. Late policy - no problem, but pick a time and stick to it.

Every now and then this location is a bit crowded since it's a smaller space but I usually go during the latest appointment times. The staff are always friendly and get me in and out quickly.

Don’t bother going in early. I was 30 minutes early, and arrived to a nearly empty waiting room. The one other person went in, and I then I sat in the waiting room until 8:05am. Three minutes before my appointment time they let multiple other people walk straight in to go in front of me.One star is one too many. Absolute jerks. 0/10.

Will not make any exception just for urine test after 4pm when they close at 5pm for walk ins. Refused and declined services. Most disrespectful people.

Avoid. The lady upfront is extremely rude and less than helpful. My mother had a lab form and kit specifically for Quest and they refused to do it. I’m not sure if its because they are lazy or incompetent.

Well my 6:30 appointment turned out quite well. By any means but you phlebotomist that worked on me was excellent she got it the first time no problem. I had gone if you're sitting afternoon after making an appointment they were short-handed and I was waiting an hour and a half beyond my appointment time only to have the young lady we unable to draw my blood so you get one chance and then I say that's it. So I came back the next day and everything was fine. Can't really fall for them for the first trip because they were short staffed and overbooked. But if you're over bugged really shouldn't be taking appointments just saying. But every time I'm going to this location of quest I've always hit it the first time and it's done

This Quest is ALWAYS mobbed. Even withan appt you will wait. Not always enough seating if you need to sit. WEAR A MASK! It's like a small incubation room. The staff is frazzled, understandably. Parking is across the street & you have to pay. If you can go anywhere else, do it!!

Very bad service..I took my mom for the bloodwork at 4:10 PM without appointment today because they said they will take you without appointment and there were only four people sitting there. The Asian guy sitting in the front refused to take my mom for the blood work. He didn’t even tell us to wait and see if they have time, he literally kicked us out and said they will not be doing bloodwork. It is too late even though they closed at five. Said They’re too busy. There were only four people sitting there and it was 4:15pm.. he just did not want to take any walk in customers. I am a public servant at the front window. If people walk in 5 min. Before closing, we are supposed to serve the people even if there’s 10 people already waiting in the lobby.. very bad customer service at this location..?????

Super rude and brusque. If you don't have an appointment (good luck getting one within 48 hours...) You get to wait outside for approximately 2 hours. I guess you just have to check on over and over and hope you don't miss them calling your name. Will not be using this lab. Unfortunately, Quest had pretty much cornered the lab market with Sacramento insurance providers, you do have to use them, but I would definitely recommend a different location. @Western health advantage, please contract with a different lab! Also, parking really sucks.

terrible business practices , understaffed , under trained, customer service is terrible ... my dr is only contracted with quest which is terrible! i wasted two hours at the Folsom location then went to this location to them no longer accepting patient! jamis has the worse customer service ever and someone should educate him on HIPPA the poor patient in front of me has all his business told to the whole lobby ! He didn't understand texting asking patient while on the phone ! April is the supervisor and someone needs to check her qualifications for that position ! only one tech ! just terrible !!!!

I CANNOT thank the amazing staff enough for the wonderful, amazing and quick experience that we had. After many attempts and failure of getting blood work on my 17 month old. We spaced out her appointments and decided today, we would try, yet another location in hopes to get a successful blood draw. We walked into this location, was called up to provide insurance information. And the woman at the counter, I forgot to grab her name was so kind and helpful. After that we waited about 10 minutes (maybe less) and was told to make our way to the back. We were paired with Jamie. Jamie was kind, had a reassuring confidence about him, he was gentle with placing the needle in my daughters vein. Was very polite and positive toward my daughter. I appreciated the assistance from Josephyne, she was also reassuring and said "she has a great vein" and the way she held my daughter's arm was also gentle but firm enough which prevented my daughter to remain relaxed; something we haven't seen before during her previous visits at the other locations. Both, her father and I were a wreck and almost preparing for another unsuccessful attempt that would also leave my daughters arms bruised. My daughter cried for a second and then was fine because both, Jamie & Josephyne were confident in their skill, positive, and quick. Thank you again to everyone that helped us today. You guys rock!!!!

I have my appointment QR code and appt confirmation but apparently I'm not in the system? Now I have to wait like a walk in even though I can show proof of appointment. They need to fix their online appointment system. This is garbage.

I love this location of Quest Diagnostics - 3000 Q st, Sacramento, Ca 95816. Receptionists and technicians who take blood are very gentle, kind, and always reply to questions thoroughly. When I go to some different locations, I have stress, and I never know what to expect. But here I'm always satisfied. For example, yesterday, when I came to a different location and wanted to take a container for urine tests, they said to me to make an appointment and a 2d appointment for urine drop off. But when I came here, a lady gave me a container right away, explained everything, and said to come early in the morning (from 6:30 am to 8 am) to drop off without any appointment. The only one cons is that parking in Downtown is terrible.

I believe this woman's name is Kimberly. She is a woman in her late 50s but she has the most HORRIBLE customer service. She talks down on people who do not speak the language, but are trying their best and also other elderly people who are not able to use the tablets to check in. her lack of care for quest customers/patience is baffling. she openly speaks about the patient's since she's aware that predominantly its non- english speakers. My parents and I have been coming here for a couple of years now. Getting your blood drawn is amazing there quick and efficient. The only downfall would be this cloud of rain. She's horrible. She needs to be in a different profession if this is going to be her attitude especially when you're dealing with people who are already stressed about their health.

These guys are so unprofessional. Rude and dismissive. Especially the Asian guy front desk. I was fine cause I know how to avoid giving them a reason. They treat the very old and helpless very poorly.
