We started an intensive kitchen remodel nearly two months ago and now that it's nearly complete I can safely say that working with Rick and RAM Woodworks was one of the best decisions we made! We couldn't be happier with the customer service, the design process and development and the final product. Rick took on our challenging job and was a great partner in guiding us through the design process, all while deferring to what we wanted, as the client. He presented choices rather than made decisions for us. He sought to understand what was important us. He allowed us the flexibility we needed to adjust the design plans reasonably until we were thrilled with the outcome. He was comfortable with some of the custom cabinet features we wanted and kept us in communication throughout the process for what to expect - and when! He tackled some challenges with installation with a positive approach and gave us complete confidence throughout the entire project. And - he was on-time (which is HUGE when many things are backed-up against a tight time frame with construction projects)!! We're so happy to have worked with Rick and his team!! I really feel that his personalized service beats any cabinet order team you could get at the Big Box stores and we'll be back for all our custom work in the future. I'll always be grateful for his time and quality work!!

There customer service is just worst. I called to get a quote for my cabinet project and 1st thing the guy over the phone asked that if I have a drowning of what I want. And I said I would like them to come at my house and check the project. The guy over the phone just said we are too busy and hang up the phone. If these guys don't want any new work then they should just put it online and let everyone know. But they Way they did was very unprofessional.

We just finished our kitchen remodel and RAM Woodworks did the custom cabinets for the project. The owner Rick was a pleasure to work with. He was very patient with us through every step of the design process and the cabinet installation. The customer service was outstanding. He paid attention to every detail, ensuring that we were completely satisfied. We are extremely happy with how the cabinets turned out and would highly recommend RAM Woodworks for any project.

I was very impressed with the service I received, very professional, and very helpful. Lots of good advice on how to address possible issues I may encounter. Oh, and I should add, it was the fourth place I visited and the only place that had what I needed.

I hired RAM Woodworks at the recommendation of someone I respect who had used them before. I had two possible design ideas depending on cost. Kevin came out and we did a preliminary drawing of the first option. After getting pricing from the contractor on moving a wall, I decided against that design. I drew out another option and Kevin came back out to finalize measurements with the second design. I am a visual person, so I had the major room changes taped out on the floor with painters tape. Kevin sent me the drawings via email and I approved the drawings. I hired a separate company to do the countertops and they were very willing to work with Kevin on the design collaboration necessary to make my dream a reality. A couple weeks in, I called Kevin to add depth to the island to accommodate a downdraft vent rather than having a hood suspended from the ceiling, and sent him the specifications for the downdraft. He also had specifications for the sink and appliances, although I planned on using the appliances I already had installed in my old kitchen. When the cabinets were installed, I was ecstatic. This was the culmination of 10 years of dreaming and planning. However, for some reason, he hadn't measured the appliances and built the cabinet for a 30" oven rather than the 27" I had. The same was true for the sink cabinet. He added a patch and touch up paint and said this was normal. The additional 3" he added to the island wasn't sufficient for the downdraft vent, and as a result he had to shorten the island drawers to allow it to fit. There was another fiasco with the pantry cabinet, but I was satisfied with his solution for fixing this. He apparently also hadn't measured the dimensions of the kitchen bench I had taped out on the floor, and made it considerably smaller than I had anticipated. I take full responsibility for this, however, as I didn't double-check the dimensions on my floor with what he had on the drawing. When I became upset about the lack of measurements, he was offended by my questioning of his abilities. He said these were my problem, that I was getting upset over nothing and subsequently quit working with me. Although I paid him in full, they never did come back to put the trim on. One of the lazy susan cabinets broke, and when I called Richard he said it was an easy fix and I could do it myself. If you choose to use them, be sure to double check ALL the dimensions on the drawings, and do not question their work or show any distress. They don't deal well with that and have no interest in customer service. Or for goodness sake, don't pay them in full if you aren't completely happy. You will never hear from them again.

This was our first time having someone build cabinets for us. Usually, we go to a big box store, order and install them ourselves. This was WAYYYYY better! Kevin gave us more choices of wood color, and type. He thought of things we wouldn't have. The final cost was less than the big box store and they were custom made. They were timely, and Kevin didn't sign off on the project (our bathroom cabinets) until they were perfect. He even made a custom mirror to match the cabinets! The only problem I have is I wish I had met him before the master bedroom cabinets were installed.....of course we could move those into the laundry room :)

During my search for someone that could build me an aquarium stand for my 125 gallon saltwater tank, I came across RAM woodworks. When I spoke with Kevin he told me that they never built one before and would be very much interested in building one. A week or so later we had a meeting to go over plans and I was impressed with the research he did to make sure that the stand would fit my needs. We had a few hiccups along the way but Kevin did everything he could to make up for them. The end result was a beautiful stand that was delivered to my house. I would recommend RAM Woodworks to anyone looking for custom cabinet work.
