I really liked the small town feel of this pharmacy until this morning when I walked two miles to pick up my prescription that is set to be filled today, I put n a refill request two days ago, the cashier Rosiland, let me know, very loudly, and in no uncertain terms that she didn’t have anything available for me. That wasn’t the truth. I had another prescription that had been waiting for me ,and then of course I was the one that was supposed to be refilled for today that I was coming to pick up. She told me that I was basically inconveniencing them since they had just opened up ,and that No could not sit and wait, ( she did not even attempt to ask the pharmacist if they could possibly fill it for me since I was there ) It wouldn’t be filled until 1 PM today. Whatever her opinions are about the medication that I’m being prescribed or whatever feelings she was having. Her attitude and her treatment of me was out of line and completely unprofessional. I have been coming to the pharmacy for about six months now come once a week or every two weeks that’s the first time that I have even tried to fill it the day that it was set to be filled, I’m usually a week out. Let’s not forget about the week prior when I went in to pick up nicotine patches that my doctor has prescribed, she got the prescriptions out of the box ,again very loudly went over to the pharmacist and asked why in the heck they were giving me what was being prescribed to me. I’m not sure if she’s the boss?? maybe she’s a pharmacist I’m not sure.? She’s basically telling the pharmacist how to do their job and when they can fill prescription so I’m assuming she is a manager, maybe my doctor should be checking with her before prescribing something also?

This store was so clean and put together. I went there at night, so it was pretty quiet in there. Johnel was the associate at the register, he was SO KIND! Johnel was warm and welcoming to me and my partner and chatted to us at the register, gave a music go listen to.

I have picked up a few prescriptions at this location… I love this staff.. so easy to talk to.. there is one young man that I have talked to a few times and all I could say is nice, nice, nice.. all the people in the pharmacy are wonderful.. why can’t they all be like them. A little Advice. Don't Racially Profile black and Brown people that walk in this store.. Replenishment Passively blocking isles. And the Cashier standing by the door on his or her phone or whatever she wants to be. Especially if you are just a customer service associate or replenishment worker. Rite aid Has filed for bankruptcy you could be out of a job anyday now. On top of that Fast Food workers make more money than you. Stop with the disrespect..

I always go to this Rite Aid because the staff are friendly and helpful. I never feel rushed when I ask for help finding something.

Love this rite aid. It’s not perfect but it’s a great location and the people who work there really try hard to do a good job. Which is more than I can say of other drug stores.

Rite Aid on J street is one great pharmacy in Sacramento. Steve the pharmacist is polite and knowledgeable. Payden is fast, clear, thorough and efficient. Nathan is friendly and easy to deal with. David is resourceful, nice and awesome.
It doesn't matter how busy they are, if a customer is in need of a certain medication, and if they have it, it'd always take them less than half hour to have it ready for you.
All these associates mentioned above are quick, mature, conscientious and take their jobs seriously.
My husband and I have been going here for years and love Rite Aid on J st in Sac.

What great people work here!!I had an appointment to take a few vaccines here but I was late for my appointment like 40 minutes, they just accepted me late and finished my vaccines very quickly.

I'm going to update my review of this Rite Aid. Because it's just a few blocks away I do shop here with some frequency. First, starting with the Pharmacy, it clearly has gotten better than what I detailed the last time. In fact significantly, and to a level that is very good. The other parts of the store are good also. Particularly the staff here. This would include the Pharmacy. Super helpful and pretty top-notch. Much appreciated Guys, thanks. The one thing that would keep me from giving five stars is their inventory. I guess with Rite Aid going through bankruptcy that creates some problems with having everything in stock. They clearly have a lot of holes on the shelves for the items they sell. But other than that, this is a very good place.
