Ruth's Chris happy hour is the best! It takes place from 4:00 to 6:00 and has the most delicious, affordably priced, filling entrees! Their steak sandwich is heaven with garlic bread, tender slices of filet, mignon, and a delicious Bearnaise sauce and is served with a cup of fries. Their cheesecake is a simple, dense, flavorful cheesecake with sour cream layer on top. It doesn't need any frills or gimmicks and is served with seasonal berries on the side.

I have to say that the people who helped us were amazing. The best part was the food and water refills. The employees were funny and enjoyable too. I have to say the food was really good. I felt like it almost gave a wow but it was just very good. Always good to experience a place like this once in a blue moon.

The food here is amazing, and the servers are great too! The first time I came I shared the porterhouse and it was phenomenal! The second time I got the filet and it was good, but I highly recommend the porterhouse! Oh and make sure to ask for garlic butter on the steak, it just makes the flavors pop so much more!

Came here for my husbands birthday, we ordered ribeyes and for the price of the steak it wasn't well seasoned with enough flavor we had to keep adding salt.

Never disappointing. Diana and her server provided excellent service.

Nice restaurant definitely has high end feel. All the waiters have assistants which I find kinda odd, often find 2 assistants apologizing telling you your server will be there soon. Maybe less assistants and more waiters would be better. Steak and lobster was good average steak house quality, over priced. Lobster bisque which I've probably had at 25 restaurants was the absolute worst I've ever had, more like brown gravy with a little Lobster sprinkled on top. The Lobster bisque is an absolute pass wouldn't take a bowl for free. Did have a spicy shrimp appetizer that was pretty good. Overall I didn't have a terrible experience here but far from the best steak house in Sacramento. Can't say I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Every thing we ordered the waitress kept telling us how much it cost. We are all executive celebrating a 37 year retirement. Are all black people treated like this? I drove through the storm in Stockton and my friend from San Francisco. Really disappointed. We spent over $900.00 on our bill. Management needs to contact my group to make up for this ?

Rude hostess. Server seemed rushed. Manager made the rounds a few times but was lacking a welcoming persona. Overall weird staff compared to other Ruths locations. Would suggest trying another Sacramento option for a steak-focused meal.

We have been going to RC for years and at locations across the USA. Over the past two years we have noticed a serious drop in the quality and level of service. The plates have become smaller -- smaller salads, smaller appetizers, and the steaks have increase in fat content. The prices have skyrocketed. The other night at the Pavillions, three people; two cocktails and one glass of wine, one bowl of soup, one shared appetizer, two Caesar salads, two ribeyes and one NY strip, three desserts. With a good tip (not a percentage tip) we were at just shy $500. That is crazy expensive. Had we gone to Ella's Dining Room, we'd be at $350 and I consider that to be expensive. The ribeyes had way too much fat. Service was sub-par at best. I doubt we will be returning to RC, end of a good long era of great food.
