Diego was my car salesman and extremely helpful. He was patient and not pushy, which I really appreciated. I also texted him a few times asking questions about my car and he would respond in a timely manner. I also worked with Joe who gave me numbers when negotiating. At first he didn't seem the most friendly when purchasing, but when I came in to get my gas card for filling out the survey, he was friendly and helpful.

My experience at Hyundai was exceptional from the moment I walked into the location. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the service process for my car in detail. Furthermore, they kept me informed consistently about the progress of my vehicle. The customer service and overall experience were truly remarkable.

I took my car in for a battery management update and when I was leaving my car wouldn’t power on. Werner was the service agent assisting me and he was able to have a mechanic look at it right away and found the smaller battery needed replacing. They replaced it and all was good. I only gave 4 stars because the technician said 3 of my 4 tires needed replacing. I knew that was wrong. I purchased Michelin tires 2 years ago and they’re good for 60,000 miles. Plus during the last rotation with Hyundai, my tires were still in the green. I communicated this to Werner and he took a look at the tires and said the mechanic made an error and they were all good and had plenty of tread left.

I came here last week, I was really feeling defeated and stressed having looked at so many cars but I did not want to settle. Josiah was great to work with, he really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and provided a friendly environment. He also kept us well informed along the way. It was a pleasure and I would highly recommend him. He made sure we went home with a car we loved at the end of the day.

Fantastic staff, Sales Reps AJ and Nor and Financial Manager Brian were Fabulous. They were all very respectful of our needs. They were all very accommodating of my requests! Love this group!!! We were done in the Financing portion of this experience in under 30 minutes. Highly recommend Elk Grove Hyundai to all my family and friends!!!

After my reviews going unnoticed by Elk Grove Hyundai, I tried calling to pay the invoice and just be "done" with this dealership but was left on hold twice for 10 minutes. I attempted one more email to Jerry with a CC to owner Chris. Jerry acknowledged their responsibility in the situation and agreed to take care of the charges. Finally some service recovery... you decide if you want to gamble with your vehicle but I won't be visiting them any time in the near future.

I had the most wonderful car buying experience with Jamal! He listened to all of my wishlist items and presented me with the car that was the perfect fit! Joe was also wonderful and helped with my transaction as well. The showroom was beautiful, clean, and everyone was extremely friendly. The customer service there was phenomenal.

I came in just to look since I was still car shopping. I was getting g ready to head out, and then there it was… the Venue. I test drove it and loved everything about it. I went home to do some more research on it and came back the next day and sadly the one I wanted had been sold. The staff did everything possible to find one near by for me and drove to pick it up for me. Everyone was super nice and easy to work with and went above and beyond. I’m absolutely obsessed with my Venue. :)

Right now I am going to give Hyundai of Elk Grove 5 stars and here's why. I went to several different dealerships in the Elk Grove Auto-mall; Audi, Toyota, Kia, Enterprise and then Lexus of Sacramento (not in EG auto-mall). Out of all of them Toyota was the worst in customer service. The salesman was smug and talked down to me whenever I asked a question or suggested anything. At one point he was extremely sarcastic! Audi salesman was nice enough but tried to sell me something I completely did not want as well as Enterprise. Lexus of Sacramento just let me know they didn't want my business after being a Lexus customer/owner for over 20 years!!! (Please see review on Lexus of Sacramento). We were passing by Hyundai, (because we never considered it) and decided to check it out. We were greeted by a young man named Oscar and he just naturally and genuinely began the conversation by simply saying "What are you looking for exactly in a car". From there we began our journey. It took a few turns but the next day we returned to close the deal for the 2023 Elantra Limited with Oscar being the go to guy. Everyone else was personable and pleasant as well. But the credit goes to Oscar for being completely transparent and giving us "real talk". So if you go to Hyundai Elk Grove ask for Oscar and tell them I sent you. Shout out to Cedric, Brian and Joseph for closing the deal. You all did a great job complimenting each other . Next review pending...

10/10 experience. This is the second time buying a Hyundai and I couldn’t have asked for a better sales team. Brian made the entire signing/buying process easy and painless. Didn’t try to upsell me on things I wasn’t interested in, or warranties I didn’t need. He kept the entire exchange very upbeat, light and friendly. I told him the amount I was looking to put down and the vehicles I was interested in and he made it happen as quickly as possible. (The whole process took maybe 2 hours and a bit of that was me test driving different cars)David was very patient. He very thoroughly explained the differences in the cars I was looking at and was over all just a very friendly person to be around. I felt very comfortable doing my test drives with him. He is also extremely knowledgeable of the extra/special features of each car and has no problem spending time with you to show/teach you how to use them.I met Joe for just a quick minute at the end of my purchase, he congratulated me on my new car and was also very nice. He remembered me from years ago when I purchased my first car and that small exchange has stuck with me since.This entire sales team exceeded my expectations and made buying a car very enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend you guys enough!

Looked at Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited with Elk Grove Hyundai, and after a week decided to move forward with one. Spoke with "Big Joe" who said he wasn't able to give me the original deal he offered me the day I first saw the vehicle. I understood, and a few days later was able to source a deal with a dealership in the bay area, which was a lot better than what "Big Joe" originally offered me. As a courtesy I called "Big Joe" and offered him the opportunity to earn my business, as my local dealer and the dealership that first helped me; instead "Big Joe" mocked me, laughed at me, and instructed me to "drive there as fast as possible, and not stop for any red lights". Felt the dealership was very classless with no finesse.UPDATE: Per the message response from the GM - the GM never responded or called me back. I still don't understand what Elk Grove Hyundai wants or can do for me. As I mentioned in my post - I had no problem with Elk Grove Hyundai not matching the price, and am happy with my purchase; however I despise the tactics, attitude, and level of professionalism with this dealership! All I want is Elk Grove Hyundai to be held responsible for thier rhetoric and behavior - and hoping this review sheds light on them and builds a case for this type of behavior from them.
