Just a quick run in to find the DMV Kiosk and pay for my Car Registration Renewal. Simple and Quick using your debit or credit card only. My smog was done 4 days before and I just brought my registration to scan,pay and it prints your new renewal and issue sticker for your car. Will return to shop and update

Irene in the pharmacy is extremely rude. Poor attitude, the pharmacist was not available for the fingerprint and I called on the phone and was told the medication is ready for pick up. I drove 30 min but when I got here nobody told me I was going to have to wait for the pharmacist. I told Irene it would be nice if they would have told me over the phone and she was very rude. I will be taking prescriptions elsewhere

I work for door dash. I delivered groceries for this safeway location. When I delivered the groceries I found out that I was given the wrong groceries. It took me 45 minutes to get those groceries back to the store. I was told by one of the associates that indeed I was given someone else's order. When I asked the associate if I'll be reimbursed for my time wasted since I returned their bag to them - she said no. I asked to speak with a manager. Safeway manager told me that they are new at delivering groceries, and there's nothing else he can do since I'm not their worker. I told him that I delivered their product for their customer and one of his associates gave me the wrong bag. Still, nothing he could do. Worst service. Didn't even try to recompense for THEIR OWN MISTAKE.

Witnessed a male teenage employee throw an anger tantrum and utterly berate a woman customer in the parking lot over a cart. Apparently some of the employees are stooping to the level of the mentally ill people who shop here now. Drive further to another location- it's worth it.

This is an update to address the terrible customer service in the DELI dept. First of all, prepare to wait. For anything. They have such a skeleton crew at ALL times, and they also make the sandwiches, so if someone's ordering sandwiches, you'll have to wait even longer, up to 5-10 minutes. Once you do get help, the staff seems VERY disinterested and mad in helping you, and honestly I end up feeling guilty asking for anything, especially if I'm getting a few lunch meats and cheeses. It's like they can't stand what they're doing, and every request is a burden. You order a bit of this and that, they sigh, begrudginly give it to you, and are done. You have to ask "can I please get something else too?" It's as if "Customer service" is a foreign concept, I swear. It's remarkable and consistent over the years. And this isn't from one experience, this is based on 10 YEARS OF COMING HERE! Btw, their hot Chinese food is so gross. I've tried dozens of times, always hoping for the best, yet always left spitting out pieces of gristle and God knows what. The total opposite of this is Corti Brothers, where their amazing deli usually has like 5 staff there, and they actually seem happy to help you, give you samples, slice to your preferred thickness, cater to your every wish, etc. It's such a difference! I live in Midtown so am stuck with just Safeway, and I really wish they'd improve the deli staff morale. The 19th st one isn't as bad, and they have expanded their selections, so I usually go there, and the Arden store deli is very nice and friendly. But the Alhambra Safeway deli just plain SUCKS.

Huge shoutout to the night crew (Aaron, Amber, Josh and David) at Safeway! I came in a few minutes before closing and the whole staff was able to assist me with checking off what I needed (balloons and flowers). Thank you for going the extra mile -- especially during a time like this -- and continually demonstrating hospitality and patience.

My shopping list for tonight consisted of 2 primary things. A ribeye steak and the signature brand mexican lasagna. They are replacing the freezers, so no luck with the lasagne. Then all the new freezers are right up against the entire meat section. You cannot get to any meats! Wth Safeway? Is there a manager their managing these freezer contractors? If you are going to block off vital sections of the store, close the store. No signage outside saying that frozen foods and all meats are unavailable. I had to go to Save Mart to finish my shopping. Pain in the butt. Safeway, can you pretend to care a little about your customers?

This Safeway was awesome and I love everyone except Katie & Irene in pharmacy they are the rudest people and don't check dates on pharmacy refills and tell you to check out on your labels that's why I came in and not to talk to a rude pharm tech damnitttt. If you like Asian women the head pharmacist Jamie she is a total Milf 1000% I don't need Viagra when I go pick up my meds

The pharmacy seems to make their own hours. They advertise that their lunch hour is from 1pm to 1:45pm but I went today at 12:30pm and was told that they were closed for lunch. So be prepared for an extra visit to get your prescriptions if you happen to come when they feel like having their lunch whenever they want.

Never been disappointed by this Safeway locations. It helps that there is a Starbucks inside as well as fully stocked shelves all the time.

It's amazing to consider Safeway a full service supermarket when the cashier and grocery bagger doesn't even acknowledge my presence from the time I loaded my grocery onto the belt to the time she handed me the receipt. They were busy gossiping in their own style. I was going to ignore and not write a review but it bothers me knowing they both probably lied through their resume and interviews saying they have the necessary customer service skills to get the job. Or maybe Safeway hires blindly anyone. They 2 ladies didn't once look at me. Even when she handed me the receipt. Such a disrespectful team. Cashier name is Je' Nya. Date 11/22/20. Time 17:07.
