I have never felt so discriminated against the entire 20 years of me living in Sacramento.
I work in the plaza, so I go in there from time to time. Each time I'm am followed around like I'm a theif. Not to mention im n uniform. The only time I'm not followed is when I'm purchasing from the deli or grabbing a money order.
FYI
All blk people don't steal. Some of us work, contribute and serve in our community.
Do better and stop judging people based on skin color.
This is not a one-time thing, it's each and every time I'm there. It hurts my heart because I truly dont see color but im said other people do.

Homeless people outside. Poor selection of items. Rotisserie chicken was pink and made us sick

This place has gone downhill and it's really sad. The fruits and vegetables look old like they've been left to rot on the shelves the meat and chicken is poorly packaged it's leaking all over the shelf so unsanitary and gross, customer service is not up to par the employees are rude I have been shopping at savemart locations for over 15 years and sadly I will not be returning. The prices do not reflect the quality of the products

I spoke to a woman on the phone who said she’s the manager, her name is Kelly. I had a couple simple questions for her but she spoke to me in very rude manner. When I questioned her about her rudeness, she ignored my question, and rephrased nicely. While I appreciate her switching her tone, she made no effort to apologize or hold herself accountable for her behavior. That’s definitely not how I would speak to customers.

Looking for a supermarket? Good. Are you in the area? Great, stop here. This is what you're looking for.
The produce is excellent and fresh and exactly as produce-like as you're looking for. Beer selection is grear. Deli is great. The meat department has more meats than Arby's. The frozen foods section has the best frozen pizzas in the region and also has great ice cream. Looking for something else in a supermarket? They probably have it. Stop in, find out, and get back to me.

This is a stray dog black market trade for meat and abuse to animals. There is a reason they are so cheap because it'd a front for black market stray dog abuse.

This location has a challenge assisting POC. Every time I've entered this location(which I no longer do), stares, but no greetings. No greetings at checkout. Sometimes hardly a glance, yet will announce cost of purchase and "forget " to offer a bag. One day this location will close because of discrimination. So it may be!

I also liked the Save Mart on Manzata Ave that closed near us. I will come here at least occasionally for the pleasure of good line-ups, not as a composition. Often I won't be able to because I travel by bus.
