I'm a bit conflicted about this review. I generally liked buying meat from Save Marts because they had good quality. However, I purchased New York steaks at my last visit thinking I was getting the same good quality meat and that was not the case. The steaks were tough and chewy! How do you get a bad cut on a New York steak?? I was so disappointed that I ended up throwing the remaining steaks away. I probably won't shop here again because the stores are kind of out of my way now and I can get better quality at Bel Air, which is closer to me, for the same price.

The Save Mart at the corner of Gerber Road and Power Inn Road is clean and organized. The store is well-stocked, with most household and kitchen items in stock. The meats and vegetables are fresh at reasonable prices. The employees at this store are friendly and attentive.

Purchased multiple expired items over a two week period. Meat started spoiling after 1 day of purchase. Milk purchased 2/22 with an expiration of 3/5 was spoiled. Teriyaki sauce purchased 2/22 had been expired since 2/17.
There is a tiktok of someone finding meat with worms in it at this location too.

This store is going downhill fast. I have been here a few times in the last 3 weeks and every time they have sold expired product. My milk went bad when the expiration date showed it should still be good for 2 more weeks. I bought a sauce from the shelf that was expired. I didn't notice until I was home and at that point I did not want to waste my time and go back to get a refund. I will never be coming here again food is expensive and they are selling expired products. Completely unacceptable

Customer service and advertising could use some improvements. They had a 1 day digital coupon day on 02/26/24 and I went to purchase some of the items. I was told by cashier Mark that you have to purchase those items in bulk to get the sale price and I told him that it does not say that in the app. He said they have had issues with the digital sales and the sales advertised in the paper to match up. Needless to say they did not honor what was in the app. On another occasion before Thanksgiving of 2023 they advertised that you could preorder a thanksgiving dinner but the app would let me select the store so I called the toll free number and they referred me to their administrative office. I reached someone in their administration office and they referred me back to the toll free customer service number! I try to support the stores in my area but I got the feeling that they don't need my business.

I have not been to this location in over two years. Today, during a visit, I remembered why. Customer service is lacking. My rewards did not work during checkout, and I caught it after the transaction was done. Rather than help me problem solve it, I was told I used the app wrong. As a loyal savemart shopper, I am confident in how to use the app and don't appreciate the remarks the customer service desk said to me. Will not be returning to this location.

Save Mart deserves nothing short of a stellar five-star rating for being the unsung hero of my recent barbecue. In the aftermath of a personal challenge, I found solace and unexpected joy in the aisles of this grocery haven. Navigating through the citrus section, I stumbled upon a lemon deal that felt like a beacon of light in a tumultuous time. The prices were unbelievably reasonable, allowing me to stretch my budget without compromising on quality. Amidst the storm, Save Mart became a sanctuary of savings. The freshness and vibrant quality of the lemons exceeded my expectations, turning a seemingly routine purchase into a triumphant experience. As I prepared for the barbecue, the zesty aroma of these lemons symbolized a fresh start, a departure from the bitterness that life had thrown my way. The checkout experience was seamless, and the cashier's friendly demeanor added a touch of warmth to my visit. Save Mart, in its commitment to affordability and excellence, not only provided the ingredients for my barbecue but also played a significant role in uplifting my spirits during a challenging period. For anyone seeking a grocery store that goes beyond mere transactions, Save Mart is the destination. The savings on lemons were more than monetary; they were a testament to the resilience that can be found in unexpected places. Thank you, Save Mart, for turning my lemonade moment into a five-star experience!

Ordered a cake for my daughters 11th birthday 10 days in advance and i drive 25 minutes one way to pick up and i get there and they don’t even have the cake, all they say is they don’t know what happened with the cake. This is the second location i have ordered at and had an issue with, a different location completely messed up my sons birthday cake 6 months prior. I should have stuck with my go to food maxx. I will never give this place my buisness ever again.
