I went into Schools First Federal Credit Union on Madison in Sacramento CA to possibly consolidate a couple of loans . I have been a member for the last 7 years. A young lady named Mariah assisted me yesterday on December 9th 2023. She not only was able to combine my loans so that I have one payment per month, she took the next 2 hours to review all of my outstanding debt and create a financial plan that fit my budget. She was professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient & kind. I am so grateful for employees like Mariah. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her help. She went above & beyond to make sure I was able to manage my monthly expenses. Thank you Mariah ,your efforts & hard work is very much appreciated.?

I am not a School member, but I am a Safe Credit Union member. Not only is this the most convenient drive-thru ATM, has great lighting at night which helps make me feel safe and because I am a member of a credit union I do not get those extra charges using a different bank.

My finances went head over heels when Schools Financial was bought out by Schools Federal. I had so many problems that I changed banks.Now they seem to have their glitches smoothed out.

I have been a member for approximately 6-7 years. I have to say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff members have provided me with top notch customer service 100 percent . They are friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Debby M. at the Madison Ave. branch isa class act. She has assisted me with refinancing my vehicle & helped me with securing a loan with a low interest rate. She has many years of experience & I hope she's there for many years to come . Nathan is also very professional & welcoming. I also ve the mobile app. Thank you-your dedication & hard work is recognized & very much appreciated.

J am waiting to talk to Management right now. Schools has charged off my Loan with a very small amount remaining.I have been in the hospital for. Over a month.Schools knew I was struggling with health issues.Many attempts I had made to make a payment were foiled by the system that would not allow me to transfer moneyYesterday I called to make a loan payment and found that Schools had emptied out my bank account.Secondly I found out they had charged off my loanThis is the situation right nowI called and talked to CollectionsShe was not giving me a satisfactory answer so I asked to speak to Management I waited on line and when I got Management I was disconnected.Much later after talking to at least 3 more "pass the buck" employees. Incontrovertible 180 days late ...Charge off on the Loan". Who cares that I have been in the hospital.Who cares that the system would not let me transfer payment from my Savings account to the Loan Payment. Totally SchoolsFirst responsibility Who cares that I have been a member for 18 years!Who cares that I was taken to the hospital on the day the most recent payment needed to be made..How outrageous that a person's situation can not be considered. Computer says 180 days. Who cares?!Credit Union?I thought they were supposed to have more of a heart I was mistaken

This branch needs to be shut down. You people are criminal and frankly most likely share a single brain cell amongst yourselves. You locked me out of my card for attempting to buy energy drinks at my gym and now it's the holiday hours with no support to have access to any of my money?? What is wrong with you people?? I have no issue putting you on blast here since you won't open a platform for actual timely help.

My bank for nearly 25 years. Staff is always friendly. Bank offers traditional credit union services such as loans, banking, tellers and the like. Would rate higher however some issues still exist after recent merger (Schools Financial and First Federal Credit Union), such as problems with the mobile app, card issues, and issues with some atm transactions.That being said customer service is outstanding and I always feel at ease and valued at any location.This location located on Madison has a non traditional lay out and is in a round building. Parking I s located in the back. Two drive up ATMs are avaliable in front.

Worst manager of any bank I've ever been into. He was borderline hostile. He interjected when trying to open a simple checking account, several times for no apparent reason. The employee helping me was confused why he was doing this and apologized several times. I will never bank here. This manager needs professional help. Maybe, change his name to karen as well.

Zero stars ..having lunch at the end of their mostly empty lot in my car, minding my own business and the "karen" manager walked out to my car and said I was a concern and had to leave because I had been spotted by employees before...what a silly man. Finished my lunch and I will be back to do it again clown.

I've began banking at School First 2008.Fees are fair, customer service is excellent, loan department for the purchase of 2x cars no problem. The application process was conducted over the phone, they email you via doc-u-sign.I did have a finicial hardship at the start of covid and qualified easily for defer car payments 3 months and utilized the program, very helpful.When it came to credit card fraud they expedite the issue immediately and with in a few days replaced the minor fundswithdrawn. Of course you the customer must provide evidence you contacted that on line business to stop the withdrawals. I rate Schools First Federal Credit Union top notch! ?

I’ve been a member here since ‘91. I’ve always received excellent services, no matter which branch I’ve visited. This is the closest branch for me, so I visit it frequently. I felt strongly enough about this institution to get my mom to join. I’ve also recommended it to friends. The staff is friend and courteous, and will answer any questions you might have. I’ve contacted customer service via phone and they’re always helpful. Being able to log-in to my accounts via computer is the main way I bank and I’ve never had a problem with it. This is an excellent credit union to belong to.

We have been members for many years.It is usually very difficult to log in to our account. We’re in the habit of checking it daily. Nearly every time we try to log in a Verification Code pops up, so we have to sit and wait for that process. If we need to get in quickly, forget it! We miss Schools Financial C U and the efficient, friendly service we received. The merger was a mistake; what a mess! An agent said this is now the biggest credit union in the state. Bigger is not always better. And we do feel sorry for the agents who have to listen to our problems. Another banking institution is in order.
