This was my first time visiting any shake shack, so everything was new to me. The burgers were a bit smaller than I thought they were but it was absolutely delicious. I got the classic chocolate shake but it was a more bitter chocolate than a sweet chocolate so if you're looking for sweet, maybe get a different shake but besides that it was really good. Food also got to us quickly!

The hype is real! Honestly, so many people have said this place was the BEST, but I didn't want my expectations too high and then be let down so I went in expecting an "ok" burger. The burger was a little smaller than expected but so good. For me, I like my burger cooked all the way through and it was. It was thin and juicy and the edges were a little crispy. The cheese fries were soft inside and crunchy outside with just enough cheese. Two downsides, but not a mark against them ..... long lines and no where to sit BUT OBVIOUSLY that's a good sign! Definitely tasty and worth 5 stars! Oh and ALL 5 of my kids loved it too, that's a win!!!!!!!

Food more oily food here than other spots, very drafty place bring a light jacket, food quality basic, fun games to play, clean, outdoor seating.

Had high hopes for shake shack Sacramento location. We loved shake shack in Las Vegas. We drove quite of a ways to get to the Sacramento location. We were disappointed. Food was just okay and it was very pricey. Service was great. The young man taking our order was nice. Parking was hard to find midday. We found parking next to Philz coffee but couldn't figure out how to pay.

We've ordered online for takeout dozens of times at this location without issue and have always received notifications via email and text that our order was ready to be picked up.Unfortunately, the last time was absolutely off-putting and we will not be returning because of it.We placed an order online, per usual, and arrived early. Not wanting to be the annoying customer or door dasher who looms over the counter, we sat and waited (assuming the expected notification would let us know when to approach).After giving it a few minutes beyond the expected pickup time, the notification still never came.When we went to the counter, we were met by who could only be assumed to be the manager, front running the entire operation. First, they accused us of ordering incorrectly, despite having a receipt and a matching order number on our now cold food sitting directly behind them (seems they had enough of a backlog that some bags got demoted from the heat lamp). Then, they lied and claimed "the system had changed and only kiosk orders receive notifications now". Really? How about just going with "our system is having issues today" if you're looking for a plausible excuse for why you're clearly not managing your ticketing system correctly? It obviously sent you the order and you made it.Even if they had tossed a hail mary and tried to call out the order name, it might have thrown a bandaid on the situation (though it would be hard to hear with how much they crank up the music).The inconvenience is one thing, but letting food sit due to mismanagement is just fishing for health code violations.

Service was amazing here. You ordered on a little kiosk or iPad looking kinda device. Easy to order, pick a table number and find a table. They have outside and indoor seatings. A few games like a foosball, Jenga and coloring books with crayons are available. So kids friendly for sure. Food was absolutely delicious however, portions are small and there are no combos.

The restaurant itself has about 10-12 tables/booths, a foosball machine in the center, and order stations on both ends. It's located in a cute lil section of Sacramento. I always get the 'shroom burger instead of beef, but since I was in California I thought I'd try the namesake, "Golden State" burger. It comes as a double, but you can customize, so I opted for a single. It was juicy and seasoned well. The side of cheese fries were delicious as always, however, I prefer my cheese on the side so I can dip. Pricing was standard for Shake Shack.

I was actually happy to see this place because until then I had only seen them farther east. It's a good, reliable burger that isn't your standard fast-food burger. The seats and tables were clean, and the dining room was warmer than it was outside without being too warm. The staff was friendly and smiled at me, which is always nice. Make sure that you smile back at them.
