Comfortable shopping and wide selection of products.
Prices are reasonable and the weekly plus coupon deals really shed the prices down of your overall purchases

Prices are right but it takes more time to check out than to shop

Worst service ever at the Sacramento ca. 95817 Broadway & Franklin location! Ariole was extremely rude , unprofessional and aggressive? I decided it be best to leave items there and shop elsewhere.. its the first time I ever had to go to such extremes ,rather than complete my order. What's worse, the security guard laughed at the situation and thought it was funny? So, if your expecting decent service at this store.. Beware! Don't be surprised.. I give this location a minus zero!!!!!!!!

It's location is convenient to my workplace and I usually find what I need at the moment. The staff is friendly. Prices are not so much, but that's true everywhere these days.

It's kind of like a parts Warehouse all the shelves are full of stuff and then hardly any room to walk two people down the aisle from opposite directions but it's Smart & Final so that's your normal operating system

Good vibes, I really like the size. Wonderful employees. They all deserve a huge raise for their hard work!
Wish there was a path from the sidewalk so you didn't have to cross dirt or bike all the way around the parking lot if you are coming along Broadway from the east.
I also think there is an opportunity for smart and final to vastly increase it's business. There is a huge empty lot on the corner of 34th and 2nd Ave that is set to be redevelopment in the coming future and it is a fantastic location for a grocery store with apartments above them. It's stits right on the most used transit corridor in Sacramento but also the bus line that goes along 34th. It also has significantly more people who could walk to it being that it's not trapped between freeways like smart and finals current location. It has many more stores around it to draw more customers. And with apartments above the store a set of guaranteed customers! This is also an area that is set to see more density, aka more customers.
Even with a small increase in size over the current smart and final you could fit a small parking lot and 4 or 5 stories worth of apartments/customers. There is also an empty lot across 34th that could potentially support more parking if needed and 1st Ave could support more diagonal parking if not enough exists. Though with the direction of the area, the location between transit stops and the amount of parking used at the current store I doubt parking would be to much of an issue in the long run.
Plus with a slightly larger store you could turn this into a smart and final extra. And with more customers I would feel less scared to buy meat here. I have had a few to many bad experiences with meat I bought that day having already gone bad.
You could also fit some other small retail around the store for more was to draw customers.
This is a great opportunity and someone is certainly going to do it if not smart and final.
I even have a pretty solid mock up design based around a previous apartment only proposal that could accommodate a grocery store and some other retail.
Also can you please start carrying Pringles® Scorchin' Chili & Lime

Very bad experience. Wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. I would tell folks to avoid this stupid store.

Normally I'm happy with the product that they sell. However the potatos this month were very gross. almost every potato was black in the inside.. I love the staff with the friendly energy. My only problem is this potatos and a 50 pound bag at that.. yes I took pictures. Yes I wrote to the company. And all they say is sorry about that, they haven't sold to smart and final for two months now. But yet I bought them the beginning of this month. ?

The manager there was very unprofessional to which I will be following up with corporate. It's like customer services don't exist anymore. If an item cost a certain amount then let the item be placed where that amount is displayed. Period. I shouldn't have to figure out why you need to put out all your product regardless what shelf it's on without correct purchase prices. The manager was very rude, and guess what I'm going back tomorrow and if those tortillas are still in the wrong place I'm going to be rude too!

Weird selection of almost exclusively low and no fat yogurt. I thought we had left the fat is bad fad in the early 2000s. Fat is good for you and low fat products often just replace the fat with more sugar. Meaning your insulin will spike and you won't feel as full because of the lack of fat. Making you just feel worse all around.
