This bookstore is a favorite in Sacramento, and personally, a second home for me. Staff are really knowledgeable, their passion is books. Each staff member, and of course Peter Keat the owner, has worked at this neighborhood bookstore for at least ten years, and up to twenty. If you have a title and an author they will find it! New and used, books of many genres, come take a look at midtown's wonderful independent bookstore.

A special place that as always been in the heart of midtown. A place that you may often drive past not knowing what's special books are inside. I recently had the pleasure of discovering what gems awaited me. Enjoyed going through the search for different types of books. Ended up getting a couple special finds ?? definitely recommend checking this place out if your looking to find a good read!

Mom and pop type bookstore. The type You'd expect find an old, comfy chair in and a cat walking around. Fun to visit but not a store you can expect to find every book you're looking for.

Their store is very clean and beautiful. I love their little bits of decoration they have. I'm a sucker for romance, so if you're looking for that. This is definitely not the place to go. They have such an amazing collection of classic literature. Their prices are very fair for their location and their service is always amazing. The lady at the counter is a charm. I would check them out if you'd like :)

Fantastic used and vintage bookstore! Huge selection and a very welcoming owner that was willing to have a chat and find out what I was looking for. A must visit if in Sacramento!

So many books!! The employee working the register was very helpful and another man asked if we needed anything. You can surely find something for your tastes at this book store! I especially appreciated the labeling on the shelves. I felt the prices were a little high for me, but I also believe in the value of a good book! They also had many "like new" books.

Overall had a great time with a great selection of books, the service person was very kind and helpful. I was with a date on Sunday and we kinda browsed around but the $1 books is a great deal because you get a great selection and value. Overall a very cute book store!

Definitely a place where you want to explore and try to find a random title that might interest you. This place reminded me of a thrift store except only with books. Thankfully, all the books are well organized and in their respective genre...areas. They have a search system, so you can also ask them if you are looking for any specific titles.
