Wonderful, homey restaurant standing alone on busy Fulton near Arden. Great attention to detail (egg-shaped plates!) Delicious Eggs Benedict and outstanding country potatoes. Many more breakfast favorites tempt you. Enjoy their wonderful selection of tasty Mimosas served by friendly, attentive servers! Definitely worth a visit and more.

It always amazes me about hospitality, Today we choose your place to celebrate my birthday with a breakfast brunch. We order and when we got our food, my eggs were runny. I told my server and she requested new eggs. After our meal and when we were ready for the check, they brought me eggs. I explained that we have eaten already. She didn't care. Full price charge and she added a $2,99 charge to my and my sisters check for fruit instead of potatoes. It is sad. No love and wrong place to celebrate a birthday.

Yummy! Delicious! Excellent Food! My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast as well as the great service. The waffle was so good that syrup was not needed. Don't get me started on the bacon. We loved it! The ham steak breakfast was enough for 2-3 people. We will be back and hope to see you all there. Cheers!

Terrible service. I went to eat breakfast on my own. They asked if I wanted to eat at the bar. I told them no I don't like high stools. They told me it would be a couple of minutes. Time goes on they tell me to join a waitlist but said it would only be a few minutes. I said no problem and got on the waiting list. Waited about 5 more minutes and I saw an open table and waited. They never called me, so I decided to go outside and walk around the restaurant. 18 minutes later, I get a text saying they removed me from the waiting list. Not the service I was expecting. I was excited to try their food, but after this experience I don't think I would ever go back. I really miss Eggies (former name of restaurant that was there prior to the pandemic).

Very busy, but the waitress with pretty nails, tattoos, lashes and black hair was amazing. She was the only one taking orders and seating people, I dont know how she handled 20+ people. She was direct, kind, and efficient.I ordered the eggs benedict and it was the best Ive had, perfect portion. The only thing I would love more is more veggies in the country potatoes lol but it was still really delicious! If you can be a little patient for food and seating, this is a great place for brunch :). I will be coming again ?

Toasted rooster cafe is amazing great brunch spot! They have a variety of items to choose from and a great mimosa menu. I enjoyed the mimosa flight because of the variety. I ended my meal with a churro waffle, which was excellent! Service is great and the waiters are so kind and attentive. Parking isn't the greatest, but there are Spots on the street to park if the small lot fills up.

Found this place on Yelp and sat at the counter for a breakfast burrito with sausage (choices were sausage, bacon, and chorizo), tots on the side, and coffee. Nice open space, very clean, and attentive and really friendly service. I wish the creamers for coffee weren't in individual containers, I'd prefer napkins to a paper towel dispenser, and there's no spoon in the silverware you get. But those minor observations aside, the burrito was delicious (eggs, cheese, potatoes, and choice of meat), and the coffee was solid. I will probably try the chorizo on the burrito next time. The menu looks like it's worth exploring--it's nice to leave a place with a few things you want to try next time. Really strong coffee was the perfect start to the day--didn't even get cloudy with the first two half and halfs.

Average wait time and average food except for the biscuits, which were really good. They get them a little crispy before they put the gravy on them. Our server was the most disappointing part of my visit. She was short tempered, terse, unfriendly, and got one of our parties' orders wrong. Brandee also forgot parts of another order. Not impressed. Three stars for being edible (those biscuits! Yum!) and for the decor. Bathroom was super clean, so A+ for the outhouse. Also, if you drive around the street behind the restaurant, there is a neat blue painted art house to see. I would prefer that the owner not contact me, as it appears they respond to each review promising to take care of issues, and yet I still had a less than enjoyable visit. So sad because the place has real potential :(

We returned to the toasted rooster Café after a year's absence. Quite an improvement in the menu. The food was well prepared and the coffee was excellent. The servers were very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Great service today by Tyler. Our first time coming here. The food and service was amazing. We ordered the biscuits and gave half order as a side and it was warm. That's the only negative I have but other than that, the food was great and service was awesome!

Came here around 11 am on a Friday and was sat almost immediately, which for this place is rare from what i've heard. I ordered the chicken fried steak which was delicious. Had great flavor and cooked perfectly. Definitely get yourself a order of the cinnamon roll french toast as well. Can't remember our servers name, but she did a great job. Excited to come back and try more of their menu .

While exploring Sacramento, we stumbled upon this charming little spot. The food was simply delicious--I opted for the Eggs Benedict while my husband enjoyed the Chick-Inn omelet, and both dishes were a delight to the taste buds. However, I'm deducting one star for the service. Unfortunately, there was a significant delay in taking our food order, lasting around 20-30 minutes, due to miscommunication among the staff. It seemed that three different servers assumed someone else had attended to our table, leaving us unattended. Thankfully, Tyler eventually stepped in, took our order, and ensured we were well taken care of.
