“the shop is small enough that you could pass by without a second glance but stepping inside you find narrow aisles lined with cases and boxes stacked high so that every turn feels like a discovery and though the space is tight it carries a warmth that makes you want to linger much like in the lord of the rings when bilbo discovered the quiet comforts of the shire before gandalf arrived with fireworks to celebrate his birthday and the fields filled with lanterns and laughter and food and drink while the hobbits gathered to share in the joy of the night until the moment when bilbo made his choice to slip away from it all leaving behind the songs and the bright lights and setting in motion a story that would carry far beyond the borders of his home.”
“One of my favorite comic shops in the area. Tons of vintage and new collectibles from comics, figures, and bobble heads to models and more. Anime, godzilla, simpsons, star wars, star trek, aliens, etc. The prices are better than most places and the staff is super chill.”
“Mother Goose is currently closed due to a fire in their building (smoke damage) with no estimate on when they will reopen. This is such a bummer as this is our favorite spot for unique children's toys. The owner is so sweet and friendly. I hope the entire complex is up on their feet soon”

I also saw some Blood Bowl activity.The store was closed when I stopped in previously, but it was because he was sick, which is very reasonable.Update: This store, and the people that hang there to play, are fantastic. I have never felt so welcome and they have made getting into the hobby, as a first timer, an absolute joy.Often times, regulars show up to chat, paint, play, or just enthusiastically help out new people, which makes Cody's job a little easier, and speaks to the level of passion and support you will find if you decide to play with us!Also, Cody took over in 2022, so if you went previously and had a poor experience, come give it another go.Hope to see you there :)”

“We drove about 100 miles to get here. Well worth the drive. They have everything from the antique marbles I bought for my collection to a old / new to us desk chair and of course dolls. Box’s of them all on sale.The dolls are outstanding. My wife got the back room deal!!! Lol. Just fun a real museum where you can buy a bit of history!”
“This is hands down my favorite comic book shop in Sacramento! They always are super friendly and knowledgeable and kind to me and my son! We started to go to buy Sonic the hedge hog comics, but I also buy dnd accessories and Pokémon cards there! There is a great variety of things toys games comics books figurines cards, and just so much dope stuff! Marcos helped us many times, but he really went above and beyond my last visit! My son is super into Pokémon and he took the time to teach us to play and build a deck sleeves and all. He was so kind and patient with us! Lovely people! It's always a good time visiting this gem of a shop! A local must! SHOUTOUT TO THE AMAZING STAFF ?”
“Ive always loved the products here, especially the vault. This time, we had difficulty finding the prices. For one item, we had to use our phone and take a picture of the price tag. We know Disney collectibles will be expensive, and we have bought them before. I dont want the in-store experience to be less than the online one.
The souveneirs are priced well, and there is a good selection.
It is always fun to see the new products and collectibles. The artists are fantastic.”

“Its one of the better five blows I've been to. it's my son's favorite place to go and he spends all of his money there. I have found some pretty cool beauty supplies and toys for children as far as holidays go their teeth and pretty good quality all in all I enjoy the place.”
“I play in the Yugioh matches here and the audience is always cool and the guys working here are nice. I feel like they could use a little more 'cool' and a little less 'weeb' when it comes to things like playmats and card sleeves, but I get it if that makes their money”

“First of all I have to start by saying, the fact that we have a shop of this caliber in Sacramento is such a huge treat. I’ve been to JAM several times and always leave with something that sparks pure joy. I’ve purchased for both my son, daughter, god son and many friends. You can see the care and thought that is put into literally each and every item sourced for this cute little shop! As a mom of both a boy and a girl, it can often be hard to find boy items as most brands don’t favor the production of boys clothing- as it isn’t as sought after. I appreciate the fact that I NEVER have trouble finding the cutest boy items and also appreciate the gender neutral options, as often my son (being the younger) gets his big sis’s hand-me-downs! All in all, when I need a place to get something of suburb quality that can span the test of time- JAM is my jam!”
