US Bank not this location I purchased a CD through state farm years ago and a year after I got it state farm stopped dealing with CD and transfer to US Bank. I finally decided to cash out the CD and called US Bank. Was told it would take about a week to get the check. Two weeks later I called US bank again the apologized and said for some reason it didn't get processed. I was told they would process it and I would get a check in about a week, (Not ) ended up taking 4 calls and over a month this is the worst bank I have ever delt with and will never use again.

If it wasn't for your ATM constantly being out of service, my review of this US Bank Branch would be considerably higher. But in the past two months, 75% of my visits in the early morning on the way to work resulted in my encountering an Out-of-service ATM at this location. Better-quality and better-timed maintenance on your ATM is necessary.

US Bank charges late fees if your payment isn't made by 7:00 central time or ??? Totally unheard of. Forgot to schedule my payment so I made a payment on the due date around 7:30 pacific time through their app. Was awarded a $30 late fee for paying after 7:00 whatever time zone. Bank somewhere else. Usually the business day ends at 11:59pm .... even if that was true cutoff would be 9pm pacific time.

I've been banking with US bank since I was old enough to have a bank account. I've been to lots of branches and interacted with lots of employees over the years and I have never ever encountered a branch that was so consistently unhelpful and frustrating as this one. It shouldn't be difficult to make a damn deposit at my damn bank into my damn account, and yet every time I come here it feels like a chore. Get it together

Nobody loves banks but this one is great. I feel that Bank people have a tough job as 1/2 of us walk in there with chips on our shoulders; These guys are both Professional AND Courteous in an old school kind of way. I have been helped by Alex a few times who is always so nice and thorough, with good follow up. Today it was Krishneel and he was equally so. I forget the Bank Manager's name but he helped me with a couple of wire transfers. Top score form me!

Well, I guess I should've check the reviews before coming here. Not that it would've mattered. Time was of the essence so I went to the closest branch near my office. I was helped by this lady Tatyana (which according to her card actually works in the East Elk Grove office on Florin Rd so be careful if visiting that location). I had a check from CSU East Bay for a little over 5k (student loan check) and I wanted to get it cashed and deposited (which I have done routinely for the last 3 years) so the tuition payment I made clear without any issues. She pretty much tells me no, I have to deposit it. When I explain that I've been doing this for 3 years and have had no issues at other branches she tells me that they were all making an exception for me. For 3 years I've been getting exceptions? Ok. So then I ask, ok can we ask a supervisor for an exception this time around. That's when she gets Jennifer whom I find out is also a teller (based in their business cards I asked for after the ordeal was done). Jennifer pretty much says the same thing. I explain again that this is a government check and should have no issues being cashed at which point Tatyana says "this isn't a government check" at which point I knew for fact she was wrong. Besides the fact that I've been a teller and banker at many banks including US Bank, I knew she was wrong. So just to make sure, I asked a hypothetical: "if this check was from the IRS, are you telling you wouldn't be able to cash it?" She said yes, we would not be able to cash it. So let me ask you this, what is the point of being a customer (for years) at a bank where I can't even cash a check backed by the state of California, and CSU East Bay? Doesn't make much sense to me. Telling a customer they can't cash a check issued by the state is ridiculous. Either Tatyana was being purposefully obtuse or she needs training. Either way, what transpired was not helpful, a waste of time, and possibly illegal. I'm filing a complaint with The Federal Reserve Consumer Help (I suggest any one else who has experienced this do the same). I ended up leaving with all my stuff and not completing my transaction. I do plan to return on another date for a simple deposit so I can get their "random survey" asking for 5 stars. That's the only feedback the branches care about and the only ones that make an impact to the teller and branch that helps you. I normally give people all the benefits of the doubt, especially in times like these we are in. But the moment she told me I couldn't cash an irs check is when it was too much. I can live with out this check being cashed right now. But I fear for customers who don't have much need to cash a check and are told they can't when they should be allowed to. It's one thing if I wasn't a customer and I wanted it cashed, but I've been one for years. And the check was not some random personal or small business check so there was virtually no risk (which the whole reason banks put a hold on the check funds in the first place, to make sure it clears). This whole experience ruined my lunch, my work day, and was a stark reminder why big banks are terrible and why no one wants to even step foot in a branch. I didn't even mention that it took 30 mins to even be seen.
