William Land Golf Course is a well-maintained 9-hole course located in a park, making it a great spot for beginners and families. The course features forgiving fairways and is known for its good condition, with recent improvements and repairs showing the course’s care. It offers a relaxing environment in the middle of the city, ideal for quick rounds of golf. The staff, including those in the pro shop and instructors, are friendly and attentive, making players feel welcomed and well taken care of. The course is particularly popular for programs for people with disabilities, with staff ensuring a positive experience. Prices are affordable, especially after 6pm, although carts are not available after 5:30pm. However, players should call ahead to confirm tee times due to dynamic pricing and to avoid being overcharged. The course can get a bit buggy at sunset, and the rough may need mowing, but overall, it’s a great place to enjoy golf, especially for beginners and young players.
Love this golf course in the middle of Sacramento's iconic park Land Park. Golf is affordable, not pretentious, and the course is always is great condition. Everyone there is friendly. The course is very walkable, and forgiving. We play at Land Park every time we're in town!

One of my go-to Golf courses. Golf courses are semi challenging but good for practicing for a tournament! Thanks Land Park!

I did enjoy my play at William Land Golf course. It was very odd to see people wandering around the park and occasionally into playable areas of the course. That is definitely something I'm not used to. The greens and fairways themselves were in good shape. The tea boxes however seem to be under maintenance.
