This place sells EXPIRED APETAMIN!!!!!! When I purchased the original apetamin I thought it was kind of strange that they ONLY accepted cash. When you walk into the warehouse ( because that’s what it is it’s not a store ) it resembles any other factory/warehouse environment except it’s filled to the brim with expired African household products. Imagine a Home Depot but the hostel version. Now on to the owners…the owners are two Caucasian elderly ladies who have a plethora of expired African goods that they are reselling at inflated prices. When I walked in, there was no one around except a Latino man on a forklift. He told me they could see me and would be out any minute which they were because they were watching the entire floor behind a door with a camera…very eerie feeling. As a customer I expect to be greeted however I literally had to flag someone down in the warehouse. Moving on, I purchased the items and even left happy because of the conversations me and one of the owners exchanged. She expressed interest in a local Nigerian chef which I later realized was not necessarily interest but more so, something to keep my mind off of the fact that they were selling me expired apetamin and I did not know!! When I got home I IMMEDIATELY checked the date and IMMEDIATELY called them to which they ADMITTED KNOWING the apetamin was expired. They told me that it was completely safe to take and advised me to consume expired vitamins. I’m not joking nor exaggerating. I just called them today 10/7/2024 and the woman told me they still have the same batch of apetamin. When I asked her to confirm that they are still selling expired apetamin (which obviously is ineffective b/c it doesn’t work and it’s unsafe) & she dryly said yes. Please do not shop here. These people are full of malice and are completely money hungry. Taking advantage of a culture they are not a part of. “ Yusol Foods” is a scam and the name was made to trick people into believing it’s authentic. This place is owned by two white women who are doing bad business and are ok with it.

Bought this plantain fufu flour ( 5 lbs) for the first time and it was a disaster, the texture is like gari( eba).and the color as dark as Amala( elubo). This is ridiculous, been using Ghana plantain fufu flour for 21 years and never seen anything quite like this before. This is not plantain fufu at allYou company can do better than selling this garbage to people to eat and call it plantain fufu flour, shame.

Just a few issues, I brought plantain chips end of last month July 2023 when I traveled to Sacremento. when I got home and started eating them, it tasted very stale, I checked the expiration and all 5 bags were expired showing November 2022 ( a whole 9month expired). That is quite pathetic and unsafe. My children or someone else could have eaten them and gotten really sick. Also why not just put a price label on your items, I suspect they dont want to pay taxes for their employees. Anyways that’s none of my business but at least have a price list at the register for customers to trust and know you are being transparent & not just calling price. The only person I know that is always welcoming in that store is the young Chinese or Asian guy. He’s super nice. Anyways pls Yusuf international check your expirey date so that you don’t kill someone one day. This is a huge liability. You cannot be selling expired item and defiantly not almost 6+ months expired. For this review to be removed, I will need my 5 expired bags of chips replaced with non expired ones or my money back!

I was surprised that there is no prices on the goods and they over charge you when you get to the register. We changed our mind on an item, the owner could not remember the price again to refund. The owner asked me how much I paid for it. Imagine that

Good place to get bulk African/Nigerian foodstuff. However, most of the food didn't have a label pricing on it, prices was pretty much been guessed by the person at the counter/checkout and it was Cash-only for payments. No card payment accepted. It will be nice they put price labels on the items so customers don't think they been cheated

It was my first time in this warehouse and it's disappointing. No price tags on product, you practically don't know what you are paying for, no even bags, the cashier lady unfriendly and dull. It's better to buy from locals. Will never go back to that place.

It's so sad that the last plastic bag of 2.267 kg I bought here in UK, ended up in the bin. There's nothing that worries one more than not knowing what you're putting in your stomach.
