Brasswood Cellars offers a memorable wine and food experience in Napa Valley. Located just north of downtown St. Helena, it features a large winery with 17,000 square feet of caves where boutique wines are made, along with collaborations with other winemakers. The estate includes multiple tasting rooms, event spaces, a sensory room, a bakery, and the renowned Brasswood Bar + Kitchen, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy the local bounty. Visitors consistently praise the unique sensory wine tasting, which educates about the importance of olfactory senses through a variety of scents and tastes. The experience simplifies complex wine concepts, making it accessible for all levels of wine knowledge. The staff, including knowledgeable educators like Heidi and Josh, are highly appreciated for their engaging and friendly approach. Guests often mention how these guides make the experience enjoyable and educational, helping even first-time wine enthusiasts feel comfortable. The wines at Brasswood are highly recommended, with favorites including their Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay (notably unoaked and refreshing), Sauvignon Blanc, and a rare 100% Cabernet Sauvignon with rich berry and chocolate notes. The tasting options, such as the “Sensory Globe Experience” and the “Wine + Food Experience,” are considered exceptional, often described as the best in Napa. The food is also praised, with perfectly paired dishes that elevate the wine tasting. Overall, Brasswood Cellars stands out for its beautiful grounds, outstanding wines, engaging educational experiences, and excellent service, making it a top choice for anyone visiting Napa Valley.
We had a wine tasting and tour with Laura. Booked day before. She was so relatable, knowledgeable and interesting. It was the best tour experience we’ve had in Napa. The grounds and property, including the courtyard and restaurant, are gorgeous. 10/10 would recommended. The wine was amazing!

Did the Sensory experience at Brasswood Cellars and it was awesome. Definitely helps with the wine experience. Josh was a fantastic host and when our 2nd winery visit called and cancelled due to a power outage, Josh helped finding a replacement. One of our favorite winery stops in Napa Valley!
