Excellent attention! Very familiar and in addition to everything, the profits go to a foundation! Highly recommended.

Ehlers is a very intimate winery and while it isn't the most well-known estate in the Napa Area, their wine is excellent and can go toe-to-toe with some of the best. I'm happy to switch my JP membership as I actually prefer the Ehlers can over JP. The 1886 is amazing value as well and highly recommended. My last tasting was with Mario who was knowledgeable not only about Ehlers Estate but about the history of Napa Valley itself. Really interesting to have him host us and to just learn more about a region that I love so much.

Mario & Rosa were amazing!!!!!! So knowledgeable, accommodating, hospitable, & personal. We had a LOVELY tasting with Mario & we loved all the wines. Would recommend time & time again! We sat outside in the garden near the olive trees & despite the construction they did the best at transforming the experience into something comfortable & personalized.

It didn’t live to my expectations. The testing price is really high to the experience was offered.

Mario was the consummate host for our tasting, it was easily the most educational of all our tours and the best part besides the delicious wine is that all profits go to heart research

I wish I could give this location more than 5 stars. This was by far the best experience we had in Napa! The property is currently under construction, however the history and taste of the wine was unmatched. Sandra went above and beyond to make our experience the best. I cannot wait come back!

One of my favorite places in the Valley. Situated in St. Helena, Ehlers Estate has an interesting history that alone makes it worth a visit. But their wines, more specifically the 1886, should be the main reasons why.

What a gem! We did an unplanned stop coming from an earlier wine tasting because the name hinted some possible ancient family connection. We were greeted very nicely, got a spontaneous tour and some taste of their excellent Cab. The interior is amazing. We will come back for a real tasting and better photos.

This is Winery is getting a one star of covering and filtering out my google review. I originally gave it a three star as It did not live up to my expectation from what I received and experienced on the grounds versus from what I was notified of beforehand. Was promised and said to have an extra selection pour besides on the phone before the appointment. That didn't happen on day of. That's fine if you don't have it the day of but don't go blatantly handing the bottle between three different other host and say "no they're no more selection to taste" when I asked in person the day of. Please don't lie to me when blatantly to my face. This behavior is now reflected by their actions to the google review. Secondly my party was ignored while my host who was already late with her previous party had to go and then had to help out with another party to load up their wine as if we weren't important. Aka they was missing for 70% of the time. Third let's not brag about big pours when you poured less then three ounces per glass and never asked for us to re-visit anything. IF you don't want to host us there then please refund my money and say it so I don't have to waist my time with the presence of someone who is not compelled to do their job responsibilities based on the premise on which they are hired. The post is to show my response for the underlying tactics from this winery who has taken off by google on the backend. The Shady tactic of backend filtering out the review instead of asking what was personally wrong. The info's are in the system with the phone numbers and booking dates through Tock along with the payments paid before hand. You don't have to give me your email you know info already.

Remarkable. This is a truly special estate and I strongly admire the staff, the grapes, and the hard work everyone puts in. Visit and if you only stop at one location in the valley make it Ehlers. Bravo ??

There are hundreds of wine tasting experiences in the Napa Valley. It can be quite a daunting task picking one. My friend from Michigan and I picked Ehlers Estate for their eclectic library of red wines. It was our first authentic Napa Valley experience. We pulled into the property, which featured a beautiful stone barn surrounded by bucolic fields of the finest vines. The tasting room is in that barn, an airy structure with ceilings at least 25 feet high. We were warmly greeted by Jonathan, who introduced us to our guide, Vanessa. Vanessa has a long family history on the property and in fact has two relatives who help to make these wines. Tastings at Ehlers are very much a high-contact experience. She carefully described our wines, and beautifully described the mission and the care that goes into every vine on the property. We had a short tour of the property, including the fermentation tanks, the fields, and even the original guest house. We were bowled over by the science and yes, love that makes every ounce of this exquisite wine. The wine is organic. The sun and rain, the farmers, and the careful stewardship of the winemaker Laura (who we had the privilege to meet) are the only ingredients. We were most impressed by the mission of this boutique winery. The profits go to cardiovascular resarch, inspired by the LeDucq family, whose patriarch survived due to the efforts of the geniuses at the Mayo Clinic. Over $350 million has been donated by the foundation to date, including the proceeds from this winery. To summarize, this is a Napa Valley gem and set a high bar for our subsequent tasting experiences. I recommend it strongly to anyone who cares about wine and the stories of the people who make it.
