The website doesn't do the place justice. You MUST go there!

OMG I can't see your website without Flash player? Even Adobe has given up on Flash because it's a resource-hogging and security flaw-ridden piece of junk. I'm certainly not going to install it on any of my machines just to see your site. Seriously, do yourself a favor and get a new web guy.

I got my wife's wedding set here; beautiful rings, very high quality, and well-priced. And they arranged to have my wedding ring custom-made, and it turned out beautiful as well. I have since purchased other items here and always been very happy. When I wanted to buy a ring they had but it was too small for me, they arranged to have it sized at no cost to me, although I know there was a cost to them. Another member of my wife's family purchased a gorgeous diamond ring here -- extraordinary size and quality -- and she is very happy with it and continues to shop here. The proprietor is very friendly and knowledgeable and is happy to show things just on a whim, with no pressure to buy. When they haven't had what we were looking for, they have referred us to other places. Patina is our jeweler of choice because of friendly, knowledgeable service, an interesting and unique selection, fair prices, and excellent service.

My fiance and I were looking at rings in the window when a salesperson, Oona, invited us in. She was incredibly helpful and patient even though we were just window shopping while on vacation.

I like to try to focus on the positive things in life...while the store has a lovely display and the décor is lovely, I was turned off immediately by the arrogance of the man that I encountered. f. I visited the store last week interested in a piece that was in the window. When I entered I noticed there were several pieces that peaked my interest. A sales associate was helping another client so she immediately made a phone call to bring another sales associate to help me which was very mindful. When the gentleman arrived I pointed out the pieces I was interested in seeing. I found a gold bracelet that I loved. I inquired about the price. He looked at the tag and informed me of the price. I asked about the weight of the gold piece. He responded, "Well, I suppose I can find a scale but estate jewelry isn't sold that way." Huh, really? Most jewelry stores have scales. The weight of a gold piece is a common question, estate jewelry or not. I asked if it was negotiable at all and his response was, "If you want to negotiate you can go visit Padis Jewelry up the street. There is something for everyone there if you like that kind of stuff". What? I was so embarrassed.....what a slap in the face. All he had to say was, "No I'm sorry, it's non-negotiable". I hope and pray the owner reads this review and meets with this gentleman to discuss how to interact with potential clients. Consequently, I bought a more expensive piece from another store the following day. I would have bot that gold bracelet in a heartbeat. He just needed to lose the arrogance and attitude.

I had a little emergency, I could not get my wedding ring off, so I went to Patina, they solved the problem, happily. Great service and fair prices. Some of their estate pieces are beautiful.

This place is wonderful and I highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near St. Helena. They have unique, beautiful and understated pieces and it's well worth a visit! I'm a fan of estate jewelry but I found Patina in an odd way: I happened to be in Napa for a triathlon and was in a panic because my heart rate monitor batter was dying on the evening before the race. I had gone to the expo to get help and that failed. Then I went to Steve's Hardware on Main Street and they tried to fix it with it the tool I bought from them but that didn't work either! Finally someone mentioned Patina and I went tearing down Main Street and there I was saved. A very kind gentleman, assume he was the owner but I'm not sure, skillfully was finally able to take it apart and replace the battery. Doesn't sound hard but trust me, no one else was able to accomplish this that day! And after it was done, I began to study the jewelry pieces in the small and very charming store. I live far away but it would be worth the very long drive to go back! I wanted to tell him I won my division in the race the next day--and I really appreciated his kind help! So I'm telling him here. Hope he sees this. Thanks!!!!!!

This little shop is a must see. They have beautiful estate jewelry, things you won't see elsewhere. Everything is exquisite, right down to the ring boxes. Who knew ring boxes could be so gorgeous?! The owner saw us window shopping before they opened, welcomed us in and taught us a great deal about estate jewelry.

We were visiting from Florida and my wife needed some work done on her watch. I was extremely impressed and I highly recommend this gem of a shop.

My husband found the most beautiful engagement ring at Patina a few years ago. Recently the center stone came loose and I contacted Patina for help. They promised they could fix it in a jiffy. I left my most priceless possession (aside from said husband) in their very capable hands. I had to go in there with blinders on for fear I'd end walking out with some other equally delicious piece of jewlery (because they have TONS). About a week later I received an overnight mail package containing my lovely - all shiny and new with center stone securely in her setting. Cherry on the top, the service was free! It's so nice to know that long after our purchase Patina is still there to take care of us.

Marcus and his staff could not be more helpful or knowledgeable. Everything in patina is gorgeous, and I will disagree with another poster in that I think that Patina offers beautiful pieces at fair prices. They have earned my business for life.

I love Patina. They have incredibly gorgeous estate pieces, and are happy to let you try on anything your heart desires. I was window shopping with some girlfriends, and they cleaned all our rings - took one look at a piece of estate jewelry that I'd bought from them (now with several years of well-loved use on it) and insisted that they keep it for a week to fix it back up. It arrived back with all prongs checked, the band re-rounded, the platinum re-polished to a reflective sheen - all tied up with a lovely pink bow! They take wonderful care of their customers, and I always try to visit them every time I'm in town.

OMG, gorgeous. A tiny place with the most exquisite EXPENSIVE antique jewelry you will ever see. Don't bring your plastic anywhere near this place... you won't know what hit you.
