This man's negligence cost my cat its life. He charged $500+ for tests and then sent me off with antibiotics. Said he would call with the results if anything came up, but he never did call. Two weeks later my cat is lethargic, and I have to wait until Tuesday after the holiday to call in. Well, he died that Monday night. I call to inform them and introduce myself and they hurriedly start telling me they need to switch his antibiotics. Why couldn't they have called me? It doesn't take two weeks to get results.The kicker? I brought my cat in because he was sick and it was determined to be a bacterial infection. They insisted the cat get a rabies vaccine as if that couldn't wait. It probably weakened his immune system.I'm so tired of greedy and dismissive vets. Do yourself a favor and find a better one elsewhere.

Dr. Gold and his team are outstanding. Very professional, polite and honest. Dr. Gold genuinely cares about his patients and it shows. He is straightforward and does not push unnecessary products or procedures.

I absolutely love Dr Gold's office. I love it because Dr Gold is straight up with you and tells you how it is ,he shoots from the hip. His office staff are amazing and always willing to accommodate. Office is always clean and Dr Gold is an amazing surgeon! Very Happy !

Dr. Gold and his staff are amazing, he really cares for our pets and always takes his time with them. I drive from Napa and couldn't imagine taking my animals anywhere else. I would and have recommended him to everyone I know who has pets.

We have been very happy with Dr. Gold and all the staff. We have seen him several times when our dog was sick and he has never recommended the most expensive treatment. I am a wait and see kind of mom, and I feel as though he respects that and gives me options. We also bring our dog in for monthly nail trimmings. Unlike a groomer, we make an appointment and the clippings are quick and reasonably priced. The staff is so friendly and really gentle and knowledgeable. This is our vet forever!

Called the vet during an emergency with my dog, he got very mad that I used the emergency line, and when I showed up with my dog he was obviously intoxicated and got argumentative with everything I said. My dog ended up passing away days later.

Everyone is so caring and knowledgeable. They've taken the best care of my Mosely and then of me when he passed away. Now, they are providing topnotch care to my newly adopted dog Todd. Dr. Gold definitely has a special way with animals. He's wonderful!

Great vet, we saw him for a second opinion and he really makes an effort to understand your animal. We were told our dog would need to have surgery immediately at our original vet (after giving him 4 x-rays; at least two of which were unnecessary in our opinion) in spite of a history of passing/throwing-up objects and his general good/normal disposition. Dr. Gold gave us the knowledge and confidence to monitor him and eventually our dog threw-up the object, without the need for surgery, or even x-rays. His office also had excellent availability for urgent calls and regular checkups. I would highly recommend Dr. Gold to anyone with a pet that is looking for someone who takes the time to get to know your animal on an individual basis and doesn't immediately call for treatments that symptoms don't necessarily warrant. We will be sticking with Dr. Gold for the future care of our pet.
