I've been a customer at this office since 2019. Customer service is top notch! The postal workers are kind, friendly and helpful. The service hours are not convenient but access to the lobby is good.

Love this post office. Always great customer service. Old fashioned genuine service, friendly staff and I just like going there. Elizabeth is always lovely to be served by.

Nice little small town post office. These employees go the extra mile to give you any and all helpful information. Help to find the cheapest shipping etc. very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The other day, I was sitting in my living room, mail lady walks up to my door and then leaves. So I got up to see what she left and she left those undeliverable notes on my door. She didn’t even knock! Note says I wasn’t home WHEN I WAS! How hard is it to knock on the door to have me sign for my package? I had to go pick up instead which was a inconvenience for me. Do your job! YOU deliver mail! So freaking deliver it!!

Been going here for years and it’s fine as post offices go but I see this homeless guy on a corner across the building every day - pan handling and such asking people “Ay dude can I have some change” and have witnessed him do so truly odd things which kind of makes me not want to go there sometimes to avoid that kind of interaction - great people inside though.

If I could give a zero I would. This post office is the absolute worst from customer service to common sense. You would think after 12 years they would put my family's mail in my box, they would stop mixing up neighbors mail (on a regular basis). Thank God our neighbors are honest people and we are always correcting the post office mistake. It came to a point we got a PO Box thinking the skill level of that would be easier for them to get important mail in our box and nope 4 months later. Mail will show on informed delivery and it's not delivered. They blame it on Sacramento yet this is the only location seems to not know how to do things right. Even at my resident I receive mail for unknown people who have never lived there. I have even put stickers with whose mail and I guess reading is also to difficult. We wonder why usps is lacking business, people have lost trust. We drive to other locations to mail things etc because this post office has failed for 10+ years. Take the drive and avoid Salida USPS at all cost.
