Can't say enough good things about this place. Great coaches and great workout programming. Everyone is friendly. Plenty of class times so you can always make a workout at least once per day. Great equipment. This is the place to go if you want to make a positive change in your life.

"Your opinion is your opinion, your perception is your perception. Do not confuse them with facts or truths" John Moore I've been a member at Hyperactive for 6 years; this is my family. I will not stay quiet when it comes to my family. The owner is the man who took me from a woman who never played a single sport in her life to a woman who can now lift heavier then men. Can he be strict? Yes. However, when he is coaching he is not there to be my friend he is there to pace me to greatness. I also want to acknowledge the gym owner as my friend. He has stood beside me when it would have been easier to walk away from me. He is my coach and my friend. However, when he is my coach he is my coach and when he is my friend he is my friend. Crossfit is the culmination of compound lifts, gymnastics and cardio. If we did the math regarding the movements with in the afore mentioned sports; we could come up with countless workout variations. However, the movements with in the work outs will repopulate often. As with any sport the movements are repetitive resulting in muscle memory and strength. This is how you advance athletes. The owner of this gym programs with excellences and has never repeated the same work out twice. Due to COVID-19 inflation is at an all time high. Business owners have been forced to raise prices to stay in business. This has not just affected gyms this is a nation wide issue. I am happy to pay more to insure this gym stays in business. Class cancelation. Saturday morning classes are cancelled from time to time for gym maintenance or because our coaches go to support our athletes as they compete. Friday nights class is cancelled from time to time due to extremely low attendance. The gym communicates via email regarding low attendance, as well as, cancellation. As women, we are responsible to tell men when we feel uncomfortable. The men at our gym are 2nd to none. I am blessed to call the men at this gym my friends. This gym is my family. I am a better person today because of CrossFit Hyperactive. Please know we have room for you in this family. If you are looking to challenge yourself and find community please come and see us

Basically what Amber said. Hyperactive gave me a family I didn't know I needed. Jesse is the epitome of CrossFit, family and community. Go for the workouts and stay for the community. Workouts can be scaled and adjusted as needed, join us you won't regret it.

I want to address the review from R.B. as a member of Hyperactive. For the last couple years as a member I never had issues with Jesse, always felt that I can go talk to him about any issues and there is many of us that would agree. The workouts are challenging but they aren't repetitive, we do same or different movements but the rounds, the time, the reps is not the same, all work outs are different on a daily biases. When he cancels a Saturday class its either because work is being done at the gym or another valid situation, not Just because he doesn't want to coach. That's crazy to even think that its just because he doesn't want to coach. Prices have gone up, but so has prices everywhere. If the prices didn't go up we wouldn't have a gym, and that's 100% facts. Go and check out other gyms and see how much they charge and they you will be appreciative of how much we pay. If you are having those issues with members hitting on you, defiantly speak to Jesse, he will nip it in the a** quick. Don't assume things. You are right the Facility is nice and the Community is awesome, But how do you write that after bashing this man's business and persona. We are a family and large community here, if your issues are with him, address them and ask to speak to him. Not come out and bash him, that not cool. There is other gyms in the area, if you feel super strongly about the owner and how he does things. I love this place and I have felt at home since the first day I step in and met everyone to the point that some are actually family to me.

I've been a member of this gym for a couple of years, and although I love the community and the facility, the gym owner is a lot to deal with. He's always in a bad mood, and avoids talking to any of the clients. When he does talk to them he is often rude and sometimes mean. The workouts are good and challenging but feel repetitive. Like he just took what we did last week and changed it a little. The owner raises the price often without any warning. The price is now past the point of its worth. The owner also closes the gym often without any warning. Don't rely on going to a friday or saturday class, because if the owner doesn't feel like coaching, he'll just cancel them. Some of the male members of the gym have made me feel a little uncomfortable by reaching out to me through social media and trying to hit on me, I don't feel like I can go to the owner about this because it feels like this is an environment he's okay with. Don't count this place out, the facility is nice, the community is great and the coaches are amazing. Just watch out for the owner.
