Adrian ‘tried’ to give me a haircut and I came back very disappointed because he didn’t know how to do a taper. My hair looks like I got a fade done. He doesn’t communicate at all. He was also very shaky like if he was doing things in a rush or like if he was scared. I am very very unsatisfied and I will never come again. He was recommended to me and I came back feeling very disappointed.

I had my hair done by Debbie and she was INCREDIBLE! I'm growing out a pixie and she was able to get my weird football helmet hair to look and fall so naturally! 20/10 she's my new gal!!!

I booked a haircut online with a master stylist. Her rate was a little high but I decided to give her a try. As soon as I sat in the chair I felt rushed. She didn't really understand what I wanted done. As she was finishing styling my hair she mentioned that there would be an extra $15 charge for long hair. My hair wasn't even that long. I felt pressured to pay the extra amount and left the salon with a disappointing $70 haircut. I feel scammed, do not go there.Service: Haircut

Debra a.k.a Debbie is so rude and displeasant. I will make sure never to have my children or I ever come again with her here. She complains about appointments and tells people what they want isn't okay. Just distasteful.

I went in for a hair trim and hair coloring (red). I got Carmen and she was very aggressive to the point I was tearing up, mind I have curly hair and I’m use to some pulling but she was yanking at my hair!!! Not to mention she did not do the hair color I wanted, my hair is just brown now! I paid $170 and I have had gone to somewhere cheaper and better. I wanted to give this salon another chance but I will NEVER come back again. Waste of money and I got laid off due to closure, this was a tragic MESS!Services: Haircut

Took my son in for a haircut and it ended up being a therapist session. The (dude?)... who gave my son a haircut started talking about my son being bipolar for crying inside the salon. Not to mention he was about to be given half a haircut with no neck trim and uneven side trims.Service: Haircut

I decided to get my hair done hair as a result of a previous highlight job done at another place. I was really nervous, but Nicole fixed my hair! She did a beautiful job. It was pricey but worth it because she knows what she’s doing.

Nichole cut my hair and color it. She listened to me, shared pictures of the final cut, helped pick up a color, and when I told her I don't want to bleach my hair she worked with me on it. My hair looked beautiful, and I received many compliments. I highly recommend Nicole to anyone, looking to color their hair. Also, the staff members were friendly and helpful.Services: Haircut

If I could give a review lower than 1 star I totally would. I went in for a haircut in January and the man did a terrible job (I don't know his name because he didn't introduce himself). I told him I wanted long layers and that was about it. He had no follow up questions and did not ask me anything else for the rest of the appointment. This was really weird because usually hairstylists ask more questions to get an idea of what a client really wants but he didn't do that. When he started cutting my hair I told him I usually part my hair down the middle, because he didn't ask and that's usually something hairstylists ask. Right before he moved to the front section of my hair I noticed that my middle part was uneven, so I pointed it out. He just stared at it, fixed it and then kept going, he didn't say anything at all. If I hadn't pointed it out to him, he wouldn't have done anything and my haircut would have turned out more messed up than it was. In addition to requesting a haircut I had also requested a blowout for my appointment, but he didn't seem to know that which was a bit weird that he didn't know and it seemed like he just wanted me to leave.Once I got home and got a good look at my hair I realized how bad it actually turned out. It looks really ragged. It looks like the back part of my hair is all one length and the front part of my hair is in weird layers. There were also some pieces of front hair that were longer than others and were the same length as the hair in the back. I went to another hairstylist about a week after to touch up some of the color in my hair and they agreed that the previous stylist did not do a good job. This was a really disappointing experience because I've been to this salon before and I've had some decent experiences, never anything extremely bad, but this was the first time I really regretted going. I wish I could get a refund.

I went to get a haircut to jcpenney instyle at Northridge mall in salinas ca, i got my haircut with Monica i think her name is and she asked her coworker to help her do my cut. I asked her if she could shave the back of my head and make some nice figures i showed her a picture from pinterest... she kept telling me she has done that before and she knew how to do it. So I felt confident enough that it would come out good, I was super excited ! Until I got home and I actually took a picture... the lines were uneven, I had spots still with long hair, they didnt follow the picture. She said she knew , she even said I had a little circle of hairs when that was a lie! I honestly wish I didn't cut my hair. Biggest mistake was going there. Also when she was shaving my head the machine wasnt even clean, I came back home with allergies and everytime the machine touched my head it was hot. I'm pretty sure it's not suppose to burn you... here are the pictures of what I wanted and what I got. Super disappointed, how is that this lady has 10 years of experience and it went down the drain!. She also told me she would show me how my hair looked short and instead of showing me, she immediately just chopped it off without warning. The only good about this is that they refunded me

I want to start by saying that Nicole and Jennifer are amazing!! 5 stars for them! The 1 star is for EDGAR. I made an appointment for my 18 month old son. I made it very clear while making the appointment that he was a baby and would need someone with patience. The appointment was made with Edgar. I have went to Nicole in the past and had a wonderful experience but unfortunately she wasn't there. First off Edgar was about 10 mins late. When he arrived he already seemed annoyed that he would be cutting my sons hair. He said "who scheduled you with me?" Very rudely. I asked if he could do the cut in the fire truck ( which is the whole reason I came from Marina). He said "no I don't know how to cut in those. What? He can't sit up alone?". He then had my son sit in a regular salon chair with a booster. I thought ok fine let's just get this over with. Then he asks "does he cry?". I said well yeah he's a baby.... he immediately walked away and got the manager. He then told the manager that he couldn't do the cut because my son was crying. At that point my son wasn't crying. I had to defend myself and say ummm no my son wasn't crying. By this point I was so upset by his unprofessionalism I just said forget it please get someone else. ALL HE HAD TO SAY WAS THAT HE WASNT COMFORTABLE CUTTING A TODDLERS HAIR. instead of doing that he was extremely rude and made things worse. By the time we got a new stylist (jennifer) my son was freaked out and scared. She was so patient and really did try her best but the whole negative experience I had with Edgar was enough for both of us and we left. Advice to Edgar: maybe take a class on customer service, and get some experience with all types of clients, ya know since you work in a family salon.
