Good location with lots of parking, good selection of craft supplies. They also have a nice custom framing department with friendly people to help.

Went in for the Modern Mobile Chest, so I went in store to check if they had some in stock, they had some by the cashier register section. As a disabled person with an injured back, I asked the employee if there's any way I can get help to put it in my car or carry it for me. She said no and then she said "i don't even think they are THAT heavy"

Ok, so it's my birthday today. My daughter and i came to the store to buy acrylic boxes for my Football paraphernalia. I was planing on buying 7 boxes at $69.99 per box. Is it really about the money? When people come here to voice their concerns I would say 90% of the time it's about horrible customer service. So I found the product I wanted, while my daughter continued to shop. I made my way to the register where I met up with my daughter. We found a young lady working the register at 6:21pm. Her demeanor was that of a sloth. No emotion slow moving and had trouble comprehending basic question. She seemed distracted and would not respond. Reminded me of an individual under some kind of medication. I asked if any more product was in the back storage room. It took me to ask her twice before she then asked I'm sorry what did you say? REALLY! My daughter noticed my frustration and then she asked if they had any other coloring books. She pointed in a general direction, and said. Everything we got is over there. Now, even though I had also asked about buying the one that was in stock and ordering the others and I would pay for them at the store. She said I don't know. She then stood there as she charged me for my product. She told me what my total was then stood there again just staring at me. So I stood there and looked at her thinking that she was going to ask about the other 6 acrylic boxes. She looked at me like, hello are you going to pay look. I then asked her are you going to find out if I can buy the one in store and then order and pay for the other 6. She grabbed her hand held store issued device and proceeded to what appears to me summons another employee or a manager. I even told her to go ahead and charge the customers behind, being considerate of others time. I stood aside and 3 customers later I leaned over and asked her. Is someone coming to help me? She said, oh ok one minute. She then grabbed her hand held device and punched some keys. Here I am thinking she is calling for someone again. So here we go again. One customer after another (3). I am now annoyed and now I raise my voice and ask her. Is any one going to come or not, I've been waiting for a while now. (6:38pm) she then made some remarks into her mic and ear piece. I then made a comment and said is that all you had to do to call for help!! She then whispered something into the mic, I was not able to hear what she said. What I do know is this, her manager on shift 12/18. Came in hot with an attitude. She was short and cut me off not allowing me to try and make this transaction. I asked as she approached seems you have a sale on these acrylic boxes. I didn't even finish my full thought when she interrupted and then made a rude sarcastic remark. Waaas that your question!??. At this moment I had had enough I dropped what was in my hand, which it was a smaller acrylic box on top of the larger one. I then said to her, the customer service in this f***ken store sucks. I had all I was going to take from these 2. I left the store instead of verbally engaging her right there and then. I called back in to complain to a manager and unfortunately she was the only one on shift. I asked for a store manager and she claimed ahead of time had left for the day. Now being a it more relaxed I told her that she and her employee had horrible customer service skill and if they did not like working retail that they should leave. The client base that goes to Michael's is you not theirs to treat them with disrespect and horrible customer service. This could be and is a reflection of the store manager. At the end of the day the store manager is held liable for the employees that, she or he hires. I'm guessing you would not be supplied to hear that she didn't not care whether or not I would come back in to the store in person to speak to the store manager. The attitude was non Shallotte with a dash of who gives a sh**, you know the typical nasty attitude that a lot but not all young employees normally take when a responsible older manag

Bad customer service! One of the supervisors or assistant managers was really rude! I had a question about my return! I did not waned my money back in my card! I waned to pay the difference if possible! But the lady in charge at the moment was rude! Hey what an easy been job

Bathroom policy is ridiculous. "I can't give you the code" okay? What are you the damn bathroom police? Must be really annoying to keep sending employees to the back just to open the bathroom door. Seems very elementary to me. Not to mention the labor being wasted just to walk back there lol

Went in to look around for some art supplies and ended up having to use the restroom. I went up to the counter and talked to an employee who was not wearing a nametag, who wasn't helping anyone but did need to take what was probably an online order outside. I asked if she could unlock the restroom for me and she said that she would send someone back to do it since she needed to go outside. I said okay and waited. After 10 minutes, I walk back to the front of the store and wait around for an employee. After another 5 minutes or so, the same nameless employee walks back in, avoiding eye contact, so I ask again if she can unlock the bathroom. She says "Well this is why I told you to wait, I had other things to do outside." Why she couldnt have given me the passcode for the bathroom, unlocked it before she went outside, or asked a different employee to do it, I will never know. Either way, an extremely rude employee. I work in customer service too, so I get it, but this was kind of important. Not to mention, when I entered the bathroom, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a decade.

Very bad customer service indeed. If your a little late with a payment or tell them you will be in when you get your next check, they are very quick to tell you that they will call the cops. I would think that if they wanted their stuff back they would just come to pick it up. I seriously doubt that the cops would put a dryer in the trunk of a cop car and deliver it back to the store.

Went there for the first time yesterday. This store is disgusting. Every shopping cart and I do mean every shopping cart was filthy with papers, food wrappers,used tissues. The store it self had item's on the floor. I'm disabled I don't need to step on small items or get them stuck under my cart wheels. There were 3 employees just standing around bsing about another employee.
