Took 2018 Chevrolet pickup in because check engine light came on. Was told fuel pump needed to be replaced. Told them to go ahead and replace it. Was told pump was not in stock and would need to order it. Told them to go ahead and order it. 9 days later fuel pump arrived. Told them to go ahead and install it. 2 days later I was told that they were short on man power and had not gotten around to installing. Maybe they should have told me at the beginning that they do not stock parts and do not have the people to install them. The truck was purchased new at My Chevrolet and will be the last of a 16 year history of purchases and service at that dealer.

I scheduled my suburban for an oil change and tire rotation online. Once I got there the service advisor by the name of Angelica told me they had no appointment on file. I then showed her my confirmation on my phone. It was scheduled for 9:20. I was there at 8:00. She then said they could fit me in. As if I was in the wrong. I then asked if they could check out or listen for a clunking sound coming from my right front. Suspension related. She replied with no. Since I didn't have an appointment. So she scheduled me for one two weeks out. I had her document it in the file stating I had concerns. I got picked up and went to work. Around noon she calls me and said. They had time to check the noise. I said great. 3:30 comes around and I had yet to hear from them. So I called. The gentleman I spoke to said my vehicle was done. I showed up and my bill was $300. I asked was my clunking resolved. Another service advisor that I did not get her name. Started telling me about what was done. She stated that some transmission boot was damaged and was replaced. She also said that my transmission was serviced. I asked if that fixed the problem. She said yes. So then I asked if my oil change and tire rotation was performed. She said no. I asked why not. She then realized that was not my cars paper work. So nothing was done to solve my clunking. The oils change and tire rotation were done. Now I have to return another day to resolve my problem. Horrible customer service. I do recommend they get service advisors that have some what knowledge on vehicles. over all they get an F.

Let me explain something. DEALERS ARE THE WORST PLACE to take your vehicle for service but this Salinas Chevrolet dealer in particular is top of the list where NOT to go. I bought a used Chevrolet and wanted to get it checked out by certified technicians. I go into the service department and a female asked how can I help. I explained my situation and she recommended a service to me. I also told her about a known issue and she charged me an hour labor for that on its own. You are already doing an overall diagnostic of the vehicle, why charge an hours work more ($200). Total rip off. I had an appointment for the early morning and they didn't call me until 15 minutes before closing to pick it up. Obviously they do that on purpose to make it seem they worked on it all day. I was left all day without my vehicle. What are appointments for then? If you aren't going to work on my vehicle until you want to? The actual workers here have poor customer service skills. I went twice to ask a bald guy at the service for estimates on suggested repairs and he did not help me at all. Told me to return in 2 days so someone else can help me with that. I went 2 days later and got my estimates. Estimates which were ridiculous because for every small repair they charge one hour of work. That is FARUD. You don't charge for what you do not do. If a job takes you 5 minutes, then you charge for 5 minutes. I will report this place to the BBB as well. Can't imagine how many customers they scammed over the years. I also put them on blast because the checklist was incomplete. They left items completely blank which tells me they were not even looked at. But I was charged for it? When I asked the service worker, she gave me a blank face and said idk what happened. She then asked an older man probably the service manager and he said he would go talk with the technician to see what happened. He comes back and says the tech is busy. The service worker told me she would find out what happened and promised to call me back! One week later and haven't heard anything!I will Never return to this dealership and I hope they learn their lesson! We the customers pay their salaries and they cannot treat us like they want. I hope everyone with a bad experience lets it be known on here with a review! I will be calling my bank to initiate a chargeback for failing to provide the promised work and service. Definitely not worth your time or money to go here!** 6/21/23 Absolutely no effort from the business to fix the issue, even though it's not necessary. The reviews online do not lie about this place. I do not recommend this dealer and I will never return no matter what. I have no reasons to fix the situation. It's clear what happens there daily. Bad service and rip offs. Have a nice day.

I had my truck serviced yesterday along with having my tires rotated. This afternoon I noticed that the wheel lock key was missing. I called them and they had the key. I asked if they would have someone bring it to me. They said that they would mail it to me. We're going camping tomorrow with our trailer and it would have been extremely bad if I got a flat during this trip and didn't have the key. The mechanic obviously didn't notice that he forgot to put the key back as it was after 1:30 pm when I called them. When I asked the service person what would happen if I got a flat and didn't have the key...you'd be screwed. Very poor customer service for me having to come in and pick up the key that the mechanic should have put back in my car. I tried the My Chevrolet chat to find out how I could file a review - they were no help either. I'm no longer a My Chevrolet customer.

Called My Chevrolet with the intent to buy a car specifically because their website says "NO DEALER MARKUP".Of course that's a lie. Shocker. They said since I'm from East Bay, and SJ's dealers are marking up around $5K, they're "only" going to add a $2K markup. LMAO

I recently leased a vehicle at MY Chevrolet in Salinas, Ca. The team of Jessi Quintero-Sales Consultant, Jess Vargas-Sales Manager, and Eddie Valdez-Finance Manager made my experience a very good one. Jessi Q fielded my initial inquiry and followed up promptly with accurate and detailed information. His personality was welcoming and calming, and made what can be a stressful process go smoothly. Jess V was very helpful with deal structure/approval and has a great personality as well. And Eddie V was very proficient in completing the financial lease documentation timely and with a smile. Job well done!!!Thank you Team Jessi, Jess, and Eddie.

This dealer was fair and Honest with me,They ordered me a new Colorado and it came earlier than expected. They sold it to me for MSRP as promised and DID NOT try to screw me like there neighboring dealers all did by trying to add 6-8 thousand on top of the MSRP just becauese they can due to the shortage of thease trucks. Hats Off to the dealership for there honesty and for doing what they said they were going to do as promised. And a special thanks to Damien for his professionalism and going the extra mile in making this happen. Thanks Again, Paul Willis

Long story short. They give you the run around seems like. And all tell you a different time frame. I really am disappointed.

Michael P. was very personable and attentive on the rare occasion you could get him on the phone. Unfortunately he does not check his voicemail so other services/repairs I requested were not done. Was also told that my vehicle was going to be cleaned. Came to pick up and after paying, waited almost 30 minutes for someone to get my car just to find it not only not cleaned but dirtier than when I dropped it off. Should have known as this was the same place that knifed my leather seat when I brought my car in for a recall fix a few years ago.

Had an appointment this morning for my car to be serviced asked when I dropped off the car how long it would be three hours when I made the appointment they said between two and three hours then it turns into over five hours. So disappointing when you have to wait in the lobby and you're not from Salinas.

I don't often give my opinion but I was impressed yesterday with my purchase. The dealer in my town had little selection. I looked north of me and the dealer had a 10K markup on everything and weren't even embarrassed about it. The deal I made with My Chevrolet was mostly over the phone and internet. All that remained was to finalize the deal. This was not like any other experience I have had purchasing an automobile. Very happy with Bret and his boss.

OK, Andy Mulkey is a CRIMINAL and SEVERELY DIS-HONEST - period! I called this guy Andy Mulkey at MYCHEVROLET in Salina, CA and bought a 2500 Diesel. I asked him 4 times if the truck had any major dents or scratches; knowing that it's a 16 I expected some, but he said I'd be really happy because there are none. I took that with a grain of salt, but when the shipper delivered the truck to my door, I was shocked to see a major door crease and a huge dent on the driver's side roofline. I used to be in the insurance industry and I technically could've salvaged this vehicle cuz the roof line is compromised. I told him this, but his disagreed, but doesn't know s**** Strike one with honesty. After I paid the shipper, I began to inspect the truck and I found the largest roof dent I've seen in my 50yrs in cars (see pic). I didn't believe this guy (Andy Mulkey) in the first place, but this HUGE dent requires body and paint and the cost of that is $1750 because they need to remove the rear interior, rear window, bed and rear door. This expense was definitely not expected. I then began to tag the 19 add dents and ripples in the fenders and all of that came out to $900. For a truck that wasn't supposed to have any dents, this was a very big surprise. To say the least, Andy M. is a criminal and a liar. He knows it's hard for peeps to get diesels and his thought process is that I wouldn't care. But if someone was to be so stupid in thinking that, well, that's the life they lead and good luck with that - Karma is a b**** and it does exist. In pic-4 that he sent me while it was on his lot clearly shows the rood dent - what an idiot! This POS actually said (when I approached him on this) that "I hope you don't think I sold you a truck knowing those dents exist". What an A******* Of course you did and again, you are a LIAR and a THIEF! What he's saying is that the guy that traded it in to the dealer (salesman #1) missed it, the mechanics certifying it for resale missed it, the car wash guys missed it, and then stupid-ass Andy missed it. They had at least 10 hands on this truck and they're telling me that everyone missed - yeh right liars!! Then he said he would give me $300 to cover the lies and deception. Basically, I have only this to say - F*** OFF AND DIE. SUCK MY A*** FUCK-HEAD! Truck new at $2930, but Andy Mulkey is a DISHONEST, CRIMINAL - PERIOD! Andrew Mulkey
