I had a very unpleasant experience. I was interested in a 2025 Kia Telluride and submitted an online inquiry about a specific car because it had the color I wanted. I spoke with both the salesperson and the manager to confirm a rough lease price and scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. I don’t like negotiating at the dealership since it takes too much time, so I was fine with the quoted price and fully ready to sign the paperwork.
On Friday, I called to confirm the car was still available, and they said yes. On Saturday morning, the dealership even messaged me to welcome me and said they were waiting for me. I drove more than an hour from San Jose.
But when I arrived, the staff told me the car had been sold on Friday night. I was furious — I had literally confirmed availability on Friday. Then they changed the story and said the car I wanted was actually “in transit” and not available yet, and claimed someone had called me the night before. That was not true. They were just trying to find excuses to cover their mistake.
I don’t care what reasons they gave — the whole process was completely unacceptable. Their communication was terrible. I left the dealership extremely angry.

I’ve been a big fan of Kia for several years now. After driving a Sportage and Sorento we were looking to upgrade to more space with the Carnival.
We visited several dealerships in person and chatted with some online and ultimately decided to go with My Kia Salinas due to their amazing customer service.
We worked with Lupe who was able to get us a great deal and was so kind, personable, and patient. We really appreciated the no pressure environment which eventually led us back to close our deal with Angel who was also fantastic!
Every single employee we interacted with was so kind! Kia Salinas has definitely found loyal customers with our family as we do not plan on going anywhere else for future Kia purchases.

I purchased a Kia Niro at My Kia in Salinas. They had a great inventory for what I was looking for. My salesman was Victor. He was very knowledgeable, no pressure sales tactics, just very pleasant to deal with.

Took my Kia Stinger in to get a warranty repair (leaking oil filter housing) plus a four-wheel alignment. Neither of these jobs were done correctly took my car back to have the alignment done again and it still pulls to the right. My car did not have this issue before I brought it in. The oil filter repair was also not done correctly, and a coolant hose was left rubbing on a pulley that ate thru it and caused a coolant leak. I did not want to risk them ruining something else, so I bought the replacement hose from another dealership and replaced it myself.

We brought the car for inspection on the 17th car does not move and guess what my daughters bag of clothes goes missing how on earth does that happen ? I go back it isn’t there why would you steal her clothes seriously what is wrong with you !

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. I had to go back once to fix the contract that they messed up. Then I had to call and try to fix the loan term because they sent it in at 60 months but I chose the 55 month option. Was not able to change it Now I’m paying an extra $2000 on my car. Customer service is terrible.

Very disappointed with how I was treated as a customer. Brought my car in for general service and to repair minor damage done to my car during a breakin. I was told there was a recall on parts but at pickup from service I was told they needed parts and couldnt complete repairs today, they would call me when parts are in and I would have to pay for labor again for install. Okay. Not happy but okay. I called 4 days later, was kicked around the Service department to be told parts were in. Asked to schedule to have parts installed, confirmed with reception that they would have the parts needed to repair steering wheel too, which was noted at my first appointment. Arrive to drop my car for second appointment and was told WHILE WAITING FOR CAR REPAIR that they didnt have the parts to repair my steering wheel and I would need to come back for A THIRD appointment and pay for labor AGAIN. Feeling this is extortion, likely because I am a woman. The ONLY reason this is not a 1star review is because of the lovely young man Romero who was very understanding and had the unenviable task of delivering this news to me. DO BETTER KIA, I HAVE NOW SPENT 5+ HOURS OF MY TIME WITHOUT MY CAR AND THE ISSUE IS STILL NOT FIXED
