Quest Diagnostic Lab on San Jose St. in Salinas CA. This business was very unprofessional. I prefer to use Primecare Labs in Salinas. The entire process from scheduling to day of appointment is ZERO customer service! Some of the staff was friendly but still mass confusion start to finish. I would not recommend Quest to anyone.

Appointment based lab. Great staff and service. I made an appointment the day before and arrived 10 minutes early. I was taking in a few minutes after check in. The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to draw my blood quickly and with attention to detail. True professionalism.

It was recommended to make a appointment so I did. I showed up and they had closed as there was a staffing issue. I have to drive 45 minutes each was along with fuel and inconvenience with fasting. I had a afternoon visit. Courtesy call would of helped clear this up

Do yourself a favor and find someplace else that truly cares about people's health, and quality customer service. I would give no stars if I could. I went here for my usual bloodwork. Usually I have it done at my doctors office, but that day the tech called in sick. I went in, no one was at the desk and I had to figure out how to get things taken care of on my own. There was a lobby full of people, and only 2 techs working. After my visit, I got a bill for $600. I called my insurance to find out why they didn't pay, and they said there was a mix up on the order. For 3 months my insurance, my doctor's office and I called every quest number to talk to someone to get this resolved. No one ever answered, either at the clinic, or the online numbers. I forgot to mention that their email system does not work, so I mailed them a letter explaining the situation and that I wanted to get this resolved. So because they are not doing their job, they sent creditors after me. Quest does not care about you. Go someplace else!

Went to Quest on San Jose St . I will never return staff especially Lynette very rude and unprofessional It was my first time and will be the last. Before I complete survey. I wasn't surprised by all the bad reviews.I gave 1 Star only because I wasn't able to give it a -1 Beware

I've been here since 7 am since that was the time the doctor had made my appointment to get my blood drawn. The lab opens at 7 am. I have been knocking on the door since 7 am until 7:30 am and still have not gotten a hold of anyone. I tried calling the office and was sent to an automated messaging system. Do not come here if possible. This has been a complete waste of time! For the record it is now 8:00 am and the doors are locked. I'm hoping Quest on Alvin Drive will be better, they don't have a lot to compete with after this mess!

This place will waste your time and the staff is extremely condescending and rude. I came in for some lab work, and walked into an empty waiting room and an abandoned reception desk. The place was a ghost town. After wasting twenty minutes of my time, someone finally acknowledged my presence and they told me that they didn't have any more walk-in availability, even though it was 1:00PM and there was no one in the waiting room. Admittedly, the dude did help me make an appointment for the following morning. The following morning, I arrived for my appointment and was immediately told to go f*** myself. The woman behind the counter was extremely rude and refused to even try to help me and barely gave me the time of day. Do not come here. You're better off with a phone in the eye.

What can I say--Quest Diagnostics SUCKS! Super inconvenient and nobody to assist you behind the counter. Automated telephone scheduling system is terrible. Made two appointments for me and my wife. On arrival, had to wait more than 15 minutes. Apparently one of our appointments was not in their system even though we got a confirmation number from their stupid telephone system. Staff person still refused to take both of us and gave attitude about being one of only two people working there. Probably wouldn't be as bad if this company gave a damn about investing in staff instead of automating everything. Will never give Quest my business again.

Well I get there and I find out that it is not a walk and n clinic anymore I need to make an appointment. I paid for my ride so I was not happy.

I got something from this bunch this afternoon, and have NO IDEA what it is. Called my doctor and her office doesn't have any idea either. I tried to call their office and all I got was THE WORST PHONE CONNECTION SYSTEM I've ever encountered (and I work in customer service, so that says a lot!). This "phone system" can best be described as having been designed TO PREVENT ANYONE (even "providers") from getting through to a real person -- I even tried that option out of desperation to see if ANYTHING would penetrate the wall of stone that serves as their mechanical ARMOR-PLATING! I won't be able to reach them today, because ONLY THEIR TAPE answers, and they leave at the VERY MOMENT the clock strikes 4:00 -- I started calling at 3:30 PM and couldn't get through the tape loop -- guess I'll try again tomorrow -- after all, I don't have to be anywhere until LATE AFTERNOON!!!!

Trying to fill out some crap on a tablet, no matter which option I use, it tells me there is no appointment matching, despite my having auto texts from Quest from scheduling online. Can hear multiple employees talking out of view, but nobody will speak with you (those funny jokes back there must be HILARIOUS). Meanwhile I have a 4 yr old who needs to give a urine sample NOW.
