[email protected] QuikStop parent corporation does not give a hoot about complaints to public health and safety! On Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 4:42 p.pm., I stopped by this 608 East Laurel Drive, Salinas, California Quikstop to buy a snack. There were 2 customers in the store, and the young man at the counter ordered me to stay outside, somewhat abruptly. No problem so far.He then started yelling loudly at another customer to get out of the store while he filled a woman's propane container. The clerk was using the F-word repeatedly at the male customer, who was shouting and cursing back. The clerk said the customer was an F-ing b****** and and an F'ing p***** and shouted the F word nearly a dozen times.I thought this was going to devolve into a fist fight, and I retreated to my car and left.In retrospect, I am sorry I did not videotape the encounter and post it to YouTube in the interest of public safety. However, I thought the company should know the following:This type of verbal assault is criminal behavior. You lost a sale from me.This store has permanently lost a customer- me, and probably the other 3 people who witnessed it.I am thinking about posting this incident on a Yelp review to help people avoid this abusive young clerk.I will not post on Yelp until I hear back from you whether or not the offensive clerk was fired or disciplined.(No response in 6 weeks from Cumberland farms.)I definitely do not ever want any contact with the clerk in question, nor do I want him aware of my name or address.I feel this clerk has an obviously terrible attitude, and I am afraid he has a potential for violence.Totally unacceptable behavior that puts his customers and his company at risk. Please respond promptly.Bill
