Zio Brand has the best sausage around. Personal favorite is the Italian, or maybe the Chicken, or even the Jalapeño & Cheddar, heck we love them all. The staff is amazingly helpful, and know their meats.

Zio Brand Sausage and Meat is a great place to pick up some amazing quality sausages that are made from the owners old Swiss family recipes. The quality of these sausages are similar to high quality sausages that I have had in Europe. The owner's are very friendly and they are also helpful with explaining things and making suggestions. I usually buy in bulk and freeze the sausages until I am ready to use them. I definitely need to make a trip out to see them pretty soon because the 4th of July is just around the corner and I will definitely need some good sausage to grill.

Great quality at a great price! I can’t say enough good things about Zio Brand. First and foremost, the service is great.Awesome owner and employees, period.The meat is amazing and the sausage recipes are super delicious. Get your meats at Zio, your wallet and family will thank you.They have an incredible variety and gracious attitude. It’s one of my favorite places to visit every couple of weeks. I legitimately enjoy the experience and meats!

AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!The owner is so pleasant nice what an awesome guy!The sausage here is so tasty fresh juicy the flavors just fill the air when you BBQ it cook it for breakfast eat it anyway you want it! We enjoy it so much we run out and we come back for more. Our freezer always has some. The price is $. We purchase a variety of whatever he has available he runs out very fast. My favorite is anything with ?️. You can't go wrong here if you want a YUMMY sausage ? .

Wow. What an amazing gem in Salinas! My hubby received a gift card for this establishment for Christmas and We are so thankful for that! We decided to head over this Saturday as that's the day we usually stock up on groceries so we figured this would be the time to check them out. We arrived to the location and saw the sign at the front stating the entrance is in the back so we walked around and we're so surprised about the cute yet sophisticated set up of this locally owned and operated meat market. The owner was the gentleman behind the counter was unbelievably nice! He showed us where all the magic happens and even gave us a little sneak peek into the process of his salami making. He even gave us a sample of some up and coming product! It was super cool and I am still in disbelief that I have never heard of Zio meat and sausages before this lovely gift. There was a couple in line in front of us that was saying they were all the way from Morgan Hill and they came down just to purchase their meats from this man. I took some pictures of our haul and you can see for yourself the New York is cut to perfection and as thick as they come! We also purchased some beautiful ribeye a tri-tip some sausages and breakfast sausage. They also carried chimichurri, they had flavored as far as spicy and sweet garlicky etc. we just stuck with the original to see if we liked it they also had a apricot red chili sauce that looks absolutely to die for that we will be trying here soon. As you can see by the pictures the product looks mouthwatering and we are having it for dinner tonight! If you were thinking about finding a new Butcher this is your guy it is family owned and operated it makes it even better we are always happy to support local businesses. Thank you again for the hospitality! We will definitely be back in a few weeks

Friendly service, and truly delicious sausages — so many different recipes including Swiss, jalapeño cheddar, Italian, and many more — not to mention the best quality meats around! Highly, highly recommend!

Heard about this place from friends. Didn’t disappoint! It was actually closed but we wanted to see where it was located. They were open because of a fund raiser and let us buy a few things anyway. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Love knowing this is close to home. Will definitely be back!

I was raised eating Northern European food, especially the Bavarian sausages. Not familiar with this "Swiss" sausage. I've enjoyed Swiss Cervalat sausages but this was ...different. I tasted cinnamon, cardamom maybe, but the meat was not well represented at all. The flavor reminded me of blood sausage with cinnamon. They did BBQ very nicely releasing lots of juices. Sure do miss Saags Brand sausages.

The Swiss sausage ( Wurst ) is some of the best I have had. Being a German I am extremely picky and these sausages definitely are amazing. The Bratwurst is also terrific and I make Currywurst using these sausages. Definitely a great butcher.
