“This is a wonderful local post office!! The person who works there is kind and super helpful. Any bad reviews on here seem to be whining about things that aren't related to the post office...thank you USPS Cutten!!”
“Needed to mail a package while in Eureka Ca and I found this Post Office conveniently located downtown on H Street. The building looks like a historic building and when you walk into the lobby its like your going back in time. The old tile work is cool and neat to see the old mailboxes.I went about 10am and they had no line, I was able to get in and out. Lots of free parking around the building. They have free USPS shipping boxes and they sell tape and other size boxes if you need them.. The clerks were very professional and polite. Glad I found this spot and I would certainly return if I have to mail something again.”
“Went to ship a TON of packages and was all fluster from such a busy morning myself, however, Cinna helping me was so kind and so patient. She was lovely and assured me I was well prepared just needed 2 small things before I could ship it. I cannot stress enough how extremely patient she was with me. I usually ship item through Arcata (never had any issues) but I think I'll be going through eureka now because of her! Thank you again Cinna!”
“Kris was truly awesome, I went in to finalize my passport renewal and she knew exactly what I needed. Super helpful and got me taken care quickly and efficiently. Thank you!”
“I love this little office. Even during holiday time when everything & body gets a Lil cray cray- they helped me just fine & my packages got to the destinations just as told. So that's a 5 star. A post office is to do you a favor(in which we tip them in the form of $) by getting something to you as them being a 3rd party. That is it. It's not their job to know 100% about visas & passports- all they do is take a picture for you. So for a USPS Ofice to get my mail to where they said they would get it there & on or before the date --<they did their job> 5 star!”
“So, so much better than the Arcata post office! I am so glad and relieved that I transferred from the Arcata post office to the Bayside post office. Faster, better parking, more professional staff, superlative customer service and much nicer people. All the heroes are the people who serve customers well. That's the heart of customer service. — Tom Peters—————————————The only time you truly know that the customer is #1 is when you read it in the corners and cracks of the organizations. — Tom Peters—————————————Willard Marriott Sr. read customer complaint cards for 56 consecutive years. One colleague told a story about Marriott's obsessiveness about quality and servicing customers. "I was out in Maui where Mr. Marriott in fact spends his winters now most of the time. I've known Mr. Marriott for awhile, he said, and on the first day after his arrival there was a raucous pounding on my door at 2:45 am in the morning and what is it? It's Willard Marriott Sr. at 2:45 am fully dressed. "Come on Reese," he says, "Let's get down and check the kitchen set up." Mr. Marriott's into kitchens. Mr. Marriott would not be appreciative if you called him a professional manager. Mr. Marriott's a hotel man, pure and simple. And he focuses directly on the delivery of service in the hotel. That's where he spends 80-90% of his time.———————————————”
