This is a surprisingly nice gallery tucked into an out of the way spot. Main Street typifies a gold rush town of the nineteenth century. Both the Arts Council Gallery and the near adjacent Calaveras History Museum are eminently worthy of your time and combine to offer an interesting hour or two in this historic town.
