Good service. Good explanation. Good attention and flexible timing. Very deep knowledge of special IRS situations to keep my expectations right on track, and also collect all the necessary information.Price is slightly more, but a better tax preparation experience. So, I will evaluate for next year. But I am very likely to come back.

Update 10/1/20: Today, finally, we were able to reach Richard and got all our questions answered. I don't know if Sara's comment (thank you for reaching out) or my tweet to @BlockAdvisors made a difference, but we finally got answers.Original post 9/30/20: Our long-time Block Advisor retired last year, so we went to this location in San Anselmo for our 2019 taxes. Richard was fine, he was thorough, we were happy. Fast forward to June and we have two tax-related questions. And it's now October and we still haven't gotten a response back from him. Nothing. My husband has left call after call and email after email. Nothing. Why do we go to a Block Advisor office if we can't get reliable communication from them? We pay extra to be able to ask tax questions throughout the year, not just at tax time, and we are getting stonewalled here. My husband has been too generous in waiting for Richard to get back to him; I'd have asked for a new agent by the end of July. Maybe the others in the office are more responsive, but stay away from Richard if you need answers.
