The Marin Community Music School (MCMS) is a vibrant and welcoming hub for music enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. With a diverse faculty of accomplished and practicing musicians, the school offers instruction in a wide range of instruments, including drums, guitars, piano, violin, and cello. Whether you're a seasoned musician looking to expand your repertoire or a complete beginner, MCMS caters to everyone's needs. The instructors are praised for their patience, thoughtfulness, and genuine interest in the progress of each student, from talented young rock stars to older learners rediscovering their passion for music. The school's community-driven atmosphere is a highlight for many. Students and parents alike appreciate the helpful and courteous staff, as well as the opportunity to listen to and support one another's musical journeys. With a convenient location in the heart of San Anselmo, MCMS has become a beloved institution, often described as the town's very own "School of Rock and Bach."
Our daughter is thriving at MCMS. Her skills and confidence are improving at her own pace and in her own style and she is happy to go to her cello lessons. In addition to being happy with the instruction, we've found that the staff is always helpful and courteous. It's a lovely community and we're glad to be a part of it.
