If you are looking to feed your dog the very best food and give the very best supplements, Marin Raw is the place to go! Elizabeth, the owner, is absolutely amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and incredibly helpful and provides the best customer service! She cares deeply about giving the very best care to our four-legged family members, and that absolutely shows in the kinds of food, treats, and supplements she sells at her stores. I recently started my dog on the Marin Raw brand raw food and my dog LOVES it. I was concerned about giving my dog raw because in the past he did not like raw (I’ve tried many different brands before discovering Marin Raw) but Elizabeth gave me guidance on how to introduce him to raw (thank you, Elizabeth!).

Absurd and unprofessional in my opinion.
Today was the worst experience in my opinion conducting business with this company. I have been a long time devoted paying customer to this business for over 3 years today I have chosen to draw the line. The owner was completely out of line with rude, and outrageous behavior when on the phone with me this afternoon. I have chosen to feed my dog nothing but the absolute best food I can find, but sadly will not be returning back to purchase anything in the future from this established. A brief description of what transpired. It has become more challenging to continue to buy the selection of food my dog is able to eat due to allergies. I went into the San Anselmo store this afternoon as I usually do every two weeks to pick up what
my dog can eat. They were out of these specific items, so I was going to order online. I called the store to confirm that my order would be ready available in two hours as its states on the website. The owner answered the call. I explained my dilemma with the hopes of understanding, but was quickly taken by surprise on how the owner took over the conversation “ stating if I want to feed my dog junk food then go buy it from a fast food chain, or a sausage company “ I responded with stating the conversation was not feeling good to me. The owners response was “ I don't think so at all” I proceeded to just hang up the call. I am appalled by this type of behavior from a small business owner. I will not be returning back sadly due to your lack of understanding.

Excellent raw food, super convenient to use, and my Golden Retriever absolutely loves it! He eats 2lb per day, so I bring a small cooler and usually get 30-45lb of different proteins of the Carnos food.
Benny's coat is shiny, his weight is perfect, his energy is great. Every time we go to the vet, they comment on how healthy Benny is and how clean his teeth are.
(Also, if you're a dog owner you'll get this - Benny's poops are very good.)

I've seen a few negative reviews about this place however everytime I've been there, the owner has been very helpful and welcoming. My dogs love the food and treats! They also help me place my orders

Elizabeth is a wealth of knowledge. She has helped me immensely with my dogs health. He has never eaten better and it’s thanks to her and this store. I can’t say enough good things about Marin Raw and Elizabeth.

I placed a grab-and-go order online and went to pick it up the following day. Due to a minor mix-up, my exact order wasn’t in stock, but the owner took the time to package a special combo for me on the spot. It was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to returning for my next order.

Marin Raw has been a blessing for my pet’s diet. The raw food options are extensive and always fresh. Elizabeth’s knowledge about pet nutrition is incredible and has been a huge help. My dog’s digestive issues have disappeared since we switched to Marin Raw. Highly recommend!

I can’t describe how happy I am with Marin Raw in enough words. This has everything for my pets. Update....
This is the about my recipe that I have created with Marin Raw Grinds and my own fresh ingredients. Elizabeth asked me to share with her.....so here are my photos of my concoction.
Elizabeth, the owner....I can't say enough good things about about her. I found Marin Raw in September of 2023. Thank God! My 13 year old Doberman had been diagnosed with Cushings Disease. I have owned 12 dobermans in my life and had been feeding dry dog food up until this diagnosis. I did the research and found out that the dry dog food, for so many many reasons should NEVER be fed to dogs. I immediately started grinding my own food. Ordering bone and hearts, etc and having it delivered from across the country, until I found Marin Raw. Elizabeth is like family now. She gives me so much information and even the code to her store, when I needed food late at night and she was closed. She is dedicated to educating dog owners and she is someone you can trust.
As far as the Raw Diet and all the controversy over it. My veterinarian at Central Animal Hospital in Petaluma told me in no uncertain terms that raw is dangerous!! I have to say that in 8 days my dog showed no signs of Cushings. I had blood work done a month after putting her on an all raw diet and her blood work was completely normal. I found a holistic vet in Santa Rose, Wise and Wonderful Veterinary. Our second doberman is now on raw too. My daughter is a vet tech who lives with me. She is against the raw too. My sense is to feed closest to real food. I buy my raw meat from Elizabeth and grind vegetables to add and my dogs have never been healthier. I can not recommend Marin Raw enough. In fact I am like a representative for the raw diet now...I tell everyone, as I do think it has saved my 13 year old doberman's life. She could hardly breath, she had thick mucus coming from her eyes and had to have steroid cream 2x a day, she could not hold her urine and was drinking bowls of water and having accidents because she could not hold it. She was loosing all the strength in her legs, so could not even squat to urinate. Her coat was dull and dry. 6 months later. Wow!! A beautiful Speciman! She and her sister love their food. I even buy Elizabeth's raw Sardines and grind them in my food processor. I do not know what I would do without Marin Raw, as I did find out that the company I was buying from Blue Ridge Beef, Lily's Advantage....Santa Cruz. Shipped to me, however, they have a rendering facility. (Not regulated - basically a place where they dispose of animals that are diseased and die). Do not listen to your veterinarians. They do not know enough about a raw diet and will tell you it is bad. I know better now...wish I had know for my past dogs...
