“I hosted a school party at the pool. Everyone was so professional and the kids had an absolute blast. The pool and playground are beautiful and the parents felt very safe with the excellent care of the lifeguards. The pricing was super reasonable considering the length of time we had the party. Highly recommend!”
“Cool venue with nice outdoor areas and space for 100 or 150 inside. We were there for a wedding. There was beautiful area for the ceremony with redwoods and greenery. The front coctail area outside was spacious. Inside was nice as well.”
“My daughter is back at Tutu School, wonderful time to enjoy weekly or weekend classes with a great instructor. The instructor is very professional with the kids guidance to dance, listening and multiple activities to enjoy Ballet classes. Sometimes my daughter prefers two classes a day, this says A Lot how much kids can spend time and meet other classmates. Thank you for all you do Tutu School !!!”

“I have been looking for an exercise class with no judgement. It's been awhile as I find myself in my 60s and out of shape. I needed to be motivated, inspired and delighted. I'm not going to do something I don't like. Deb Walker brings it every time in her Nia classes! I am challenged, I laugh, I sweat, I dance, and I feel amazing! This would be a workout for anyone at any age. A great location, lots of parking, classes when I need them - even on Saturday and Sunday, and the nicest and most welcoming people!”
“Amazing private club, with some of the best grounds, docks and views in the world. Truly a treat to visit as a reciprocal member from another club. Their chef is truly world class, and the bar and restaurant is tightly and beautifully managed. The General Manager must really know his business as the club is spotless and well maintained. For those who are not members, the Club opens their doors for private events held by non-members in their Grand Ballroom and upstairs bar and beautiful deck. Well worth it for that special event in your life.
If you have reciprocity with an affiliate Yacht Club, do look into visiting on your boat, just be sure to reserve guest dock space before you start your journey.”

“We just had a “Celebration of Life” at the Loch Lomond Yacht Club. It was beautiful. Julia was very helpful in giving me ideas about table arrangements, the bar, number of guests, the kitchen, etc. We had a wonderful, emotional day -great food & drinks (thank you, Christine) and heartfelt speeches. It was the perfect venue.

“We knew when we visited this venue it was the one! The ceremony location was gorgeously overlooking the green hills and the high ceilings in the reception with all the windows sealed the deal. All the food was amazing too which is just an added plus - our guests raved about it! But honestly one of the best highlight was our on the day coordinator, Heather. She made the day stress free and never blinked an eye with my million questions and wanting the day to go smoothly! She was attentive and gave the best advice and recommendation throughout the day. It was the most magical day and truly went by so so fast because of how perfect it was!”

“We held my daughter's wedding reception here on April 30, 2016. The venue was the perfect size for 80 people. The bar area is a good size and separate from the main room. The front deck faces Mt. Tam and is a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy the fresh air. Ample free parking right out front. Our caterer found the venue very easy to work with for passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet dinner. After dinner, we moved tables and had a dance floor with a Dj. We kept the music going until midnight with no complaints. The rental price was very reasonable for such a nice place. Highly recommend this location in downtown Larkspur.”
“Great job serving Tam Valley on waste. They even host a community garage sale. TIP: You can drop off used batteries, ewaste, etc. They also have community clean out days for shredding, large items, yard waste, etc.”

“This is a very nice Community center. It's located in the heart of San Rafael with a good size parking lot. For big events the parking lot is often full. The center has a very large ballroom and smaller rooms that expand to accommodate smaller functions. I've attended events in the ballroom such as the Chinese New Years event with performers using the full stage. Other events include Goldenaires bingo, armed Cross blood drives, and the Mull Valley Film festival party. Even Jared Huffman has used the ballroom for his in person events. The smaller rooms are terrific for trainings by the Women's Pilitical Action Committee and lunches or parties. There is a full kitchen and custodian on staff. It is also a good value.”
“Attended a wedding here on a Friday afternoon. What a lovely drive through the North Bay in Marin County. There was some city traffic getting here off the freeway for a Friday afternoon; but made it. There’s gravel parking and I saw deer while parking. Also there’s lack of phone service but the venue has WiFi. It has many indoor and outdoor areas, well shaded outdoors with the trees and it feels really cool because it was a warm day but the trees and shade kept it cool. They have indoor and outdoor bars, and multiple rooms, the dance floor is in the inside. Beautiful forest venue and gives the nice outdoor feel. There were appetizers during cocktail hour, and the serviced meal had a huge salad and bread and then we had a fish or beef option. I had the fish which was really good and the beef was a huge cut of meat. They both came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Staff were friendly and efficient, the wine paired well with the meal. I enjoyed the venue for this wedding as a guest!”

“Having our wedding at The San Francisco Theological Seminary (May 2025!) was one of the easiest and best decisions we made when planning for our wedding! As soon as we stepped foot on the campus, we knew it was the venue we’d been looking for. Working with the staff here (HUGE thank you to Jeremiah Jenkins!!) was low stress and straightforward. Many other venues we looked at just didn’t feel right and felt overly complicated. The grounds were beautifully rich with history and architecture and more than we could have asked for in a wedding venue.”
