I love this bookstore and their mix of new and used books. This is something every town needs, and should be saved. We don’t need another chachtka shop selling overpriced goods in this town. Material things are temporary, intellectual progress is the pulse of our society. As
long as books are abundant, people can do anything and this shop sustains the growth of humanity especially in our developing adolescents. Please donate to keep this bookshop alive over a $25 glass of wine shop or whatever it would be. Our kids need it, we all need it.

I received an odd vibe from the lady who works in the store. She opened the door, and did not greet me but instead acted as if I were in her way. When I was checking out, she asked if I was a part of their rewards program, and when I said no, that I had just moved to the area, she didn't ask if I wanted to sign up and ended the interaction there. I am disappointed because the rest of San Anselmo was such a great experience.

This bookshop is very welcoming and charming. I loved the layout, the selection of books - new and old (some even from the early 1900s), and the playful knickknacks lurking from the top of the bookshelves.

I love Whytes hometown feel. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and obliging. I just ordered another book as the particular Medical Medium book sold out. I usually buy several of the small Four Agreements books, and give them as gifts, randomly. Conveniently placed at the counter. ?

Cozy location to find that book you want to curl up to at home. I have found some excellent books on poetry, and my 11 year old has found all the trendy books for her and her friends! I highly recommend this as a perfect stop for yourself or for a friend!
