“Worth donating to here. Really helpful. I imagine the poor staff here must be tired of many people calling multiple times a day to ask the same exact things. Nevertheless, they are direct and straightforward about everything.”
“My puppy got spayed here in December and i absolutely loved the service. Place is very clean and professional. She had a fast and a great recovery. Definitely recommend. They take great care of pets ?❤️”
“It was a cool post tucked away in the North end of San Bernardino you got to check it out if you're American legion member of course or if you're a sons or if you're auxiliary and on top of that if you're a Rider.”
“We visited once last year. It’s a great Word driven church. Any preacher can bring a mighty word. It’s for younger parishioners in my opinion and that’s EXACTLY what is needed today!! They are super welcoming. They did not contact us afterwards which was disappointing. I highly recommend to young families young people. Praise and worship is fire.”
“Excellent experience at this facility. Had my first DUI and was dreading the process of taking weekly classes. Blanca Sanchez was an amazing instructor who not only provided excellent education but also did not guilt shame at all. I learned a lot in the 3 month classes I took. Thank you Blanca!!!”
“My mother started attending in October and it is such a good feeling that she looks forward and feels excited attending this school. I personally am a volunteer and I myself have a wonderful time. I am so blessed to have found this school for my mother. Everyone has received us with open arms”

“I entered this program on 4/18/25, and I spent 31 days here, successfully completing the program. This place was my saving grace, and gave me a second chance in life. I lost my kids due to drugs, and because of GHW, I was able to get on the right track back to having them home with me again. Gibson House for Women gave me my life back! My counselor, Danielle, was and will always be my angel. She had my back from day 1, and was always on top of things. All of the counselors are amazing - they all really do care and most have been down the same roads so they know what you're going through. I was housed with 30 other woman here, and every single one of them became my sober sisters - the most incredible group of women I've ever met iny life. We all had each other to lean on during those times of hardship, and comfort was always there. This place truly is magical, and I can't thank GHW, and the women I went through treatment with enough for everything they've done for me. It was a miracle I ended up here, and the program wasn't exactly easy, but I needed their strict structure at the time, and am so grateful for it. My advice to anyone reading this is STICK WITH IT! IT'S SO WORTH THE REWARDS IN THE END. Don't let anyone take you out of character and destroy the peace you so much deserve.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you Gibson House for Women - You saved me, and my family ❤️

“I honestly don’t know how to thank Jennifer Velasquez enough. She helped my husband through every step of his immigration process, from his work permit all the way to his green card. This is a stressful and scary process for any family, but Jennifer made us feel supported the entire way. She didn’t just do her job. She cared. She made sure every form was correct, always pushed to make things move faster, and was constantly checking in. Whenever we were confused or worried, she answered right away and took her time to explain everything so we could feel calm again. There were many moments where I felt overwhelmed, wondering if everything would be okay. Jennifer never let us feel alone. She treated us with respect, kindness, and so much patience. It’s rare to find someone who truly goes above and beyond these days, and she definitely did.
Thank you Jennifer, for being part of this huge moment in our lives. We will always be grateful for you and all the hard work you put into helping our family. We appreciate you more than words can ever say.”
“Excellent Customer Service, Harry Camble and the other volunteers are SO sweet and kind…I just came for emotional support and still received the highest hospitality ✨”
“I haven’t been Their but I would like to be a part of the group. My father was in the army he had a military funeral up in Boise Idaho at the VA hospital, my brother Tim was a medic in the army and he served in the big hospital over in Germany, and my brother Paul was a Marine and served in Vietnam. I would like to be an active part of the group that volunteers and goes to the VA in Loma Linda and visit the CLC the community living center where veterans live there because I have no place to go. I was a volunteer there until Covid came down they wouldn’t let them volunteers in. I still have connections with the leader ship there but I can’t go in. I’m responding today because I got something in the mail from them a survey and I said hey do you still remember me.”
“Thank you Araceli and all Catholic Charities for helping me with my rent for my new apartment for me and my wife and my son....thank you and God bless all of Catholic Charities.....amen”

“The park has a new name Ridgeline Little League. This is a great park to play baseball. The president truly has a passion for seeing the kids have fun and become great not only in baseball but in life. I would recommend this park to everyone, come out have some nachos hot dogs and have a good time at Ridgeline.”
“The best place to go to... In my opinion. Going there since I was a baby. The fellowship is great, the hymns are awesome as per usual, and it has a great atmosphere with nice people.”
“very deceptvie with their cusmoter service. I called them several times, they put me on hold and calls got disconnected. I left messages, several times, and they never get back to me. Finally, one lady answered me and stated to me that i got the wrong office, (only one phone number shows online). She stated to me she will get back to me by the end of the day, and they never did.”
“This program is amazing specially the parenting classes were the best for me i get to understand my kids even better thanks to my home visitor Gina Martinez all good things about her helpful kind understanding always on time just and awesome individual”
“Receptionist is brilliant she went above and beyond to help me find a referral to another agency when my insurance did not cover services for my autism evaluation in this location. She even sat down with me and called my provider to advocate for me. She even wrote down information to help me navigate this process in post it notes. As a low income first gen student with no parental support this has been incredibly helpful and she helped me make the appointment with my provider in another agency when I couldn't make one here. She deserves a raise and a promotion. She is the example of what it means to be a leader in the workforce.”
“They were extremely helpful, I received a crib and a twin size bed and frame from this resource center. They were even more than happy to assist in loading. Very generous and I'm very thankful for the opportunity to have had a beautiful experience.”
“I went once to help with my light bill, they were nice and did help me. The second time I emailed them and they wasted no time contacting me. I ended up not needing help, but they didn't give up going out of their way to contact me. Sent me information on my needs. Everyone at Community action hats off to you all for having the will and patience to help the people.”
“I just received a phone call back and I had every question answered that I asked Amy was so knowledgeable and positive. IRC definitely is the Golden Ticket to benefits for my Autistic children worth the wait and they open and services that is amazing they are truly the Golden Ticket”

“I had a great experience during my 16 week parenting course, and although I attended class via zoom I was still able to learn a lot thanks to Jason and Angelica, they taught in a way that was very informative and relevant. I also want to thank Christina for her support especially when I felt like I had none, and making me feel comfortable when it came to resources. Thank you Walden Family Services.”
