I travel for work frequently, so I see plenty of different gyms. First off, LA Fitness is one of the best chains in the U.S. Period. This location specifically is super clean, well organized, and all of the similar body part machines are all clustered together, which makes your workout super easy. Daniela was outstanding at the check-in desk, promptly opening the facility for us diehards at 5am plus helping me with my day pass purchase. If in this San Bernardo area and looking for a gym to join or a one-off workout, this is the spot.

Love this place. Great layout, super clean and not crowded at all. Samantha provided excellent customer service. She was very helpful and with a smile in her face the whole time. Absolutely recommend this gym.

Today was the second time kids club was closed “due to them being understaffed.” I understand those things happen, but at least send out a text/email advising members with kids club about it. I could have drove myself to a different location if that was the case. Front staff needs to be more professional.

I brought in a guest and my guest did a so called "free" training assessment which some how led to their trainer signing him up for a contract for over 1000 but under my membership which i never authorized or signed for. Im so upset bc its linked to MY account my initials arent even on the paperwork bc i never signed for anything. Im now in process of trying to get that contract voided bc thats falsified and nothing can be linked to my membership without my consent or knowledge. Be careful with those trainings they offer bc they trick people into signing up for all this money when honestly you can just train yourself

pool was making an AWFUL noise when draining into the filter. we had to leave after 15 min because the noise was so loud, unbearable, and CONSTANT. we asked the employees and they said it happens often. Owners/Managers NEED to put in a work request because it ruins a major amenity for the gym!
everything else has been great at this gym. the staff are nice and always answer questions

Me and my husband have been trying different gyms around the area. I must say this gym is always clean and well-organized, with all the machines in excellent working order. They have a cleaning person on duty throughout most of the day, and wipes for the machines are usually stocked. The only thing missing is a sauna, but aside from that, the staff is friendly and helpful. My husband and I love coming here! Keep up the good work.

Esporta Fitness now LA Fitness. in SB is great, the staff is good place is always well maintained. A lot of the members that go there. Appreciate others by picking up after themselves. Just the crowd and the environment is ten times better

I came I wanting to shop for gyms and the team there is really friendly and walked me through everything. They made a custom workout plan for me and even helped used the machines and gave me a cardio program. Mike the manager there gave me the best deal he could. The facility is huge and really clean. Compared to other gyms in the area, this gym just blows them out the water in terms of service and the facility has all the amenities that I need and more! Gonna check out other LA fitness in the area!

Membership or no membership the staff is very unprofessional & very much rude. I used to have a membership at this gym but didn’t renew my membership because of how unprofessional the staff is, how they don’t care about the members, how they don’t care about facility.
I had visit esporta back in June just to not get no where and get treated with horrible customer service. I spoke with a young man that was a salesman that didn’t want to let me workout.
Fast forward to today 9-3-2024 in the morning I came in to see if I could use a quest pass to workout of course I spoke with a beautiful lady that was at the front desk that said she was a manager. I told her that I did the guest pass online and was trying to see if I could workout for the day. I found out from back in June the salesman that I spoke with back in June wrote a lot of false information into the computer about me. She went back to talk with someone & when she came back’ she had a whole different attitude towards me. The woman manager was very rude, unprofessional, & silently nasty with her attitude to where she would cut me off of not getting a word out. I wasn’t rude or didn’t have an attitude with her. I don’t know what is going on. All they want is my money and All I am trying to do is come to a solution in this situation. I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and seen almost everything and that’s including horrible workers. I wouldn’t advice no one to workout there or even get a membership at esporta/la fitness now. The company have a dysfunctional staff. Or maybe torwards “Black People” I don’t know…
Something has to get right and we need to find a solution to this problem of a situation.

I like this place. Late afternoon is a good time to come. It's pretty empty. Workers are friendly. Machines are clean. Parking is abundant.

This business preys on vulnerable Army Combat veterans. I was forced to sign a contract and was told I would only be charged about 200 dollars. The company then charged me 380 twice and wanted more. Even though I informed them of the mistake and asked them to either honor the original rate the Head trainer assured me of or cancel it completely, they ignored my emails and calls. They only finally answered when i continued contacting them and they were of no help and were very disrespectful.

Dumbbells are never in order. The place is literally falling apart. There has been a water leak above the ceiling for over a week. The solution is put a trash can under it and have the cleaning crew dump it daily.
