Stater Bros. Markets began as a single grocery store in Yucaipa, California in 1936 and now has 172 locations in Southern California. Customers praise the great selection of fresh produce, meats, seafood, wine, and groceries. One shopper said a tres leches cake was amazing and the best ever. Many return because the best meat and variety of cuts are available, and the experienced butcher's help with barbecue for the family. Staff are super well trained, courteous, professional, and employees are friendly and helpful. The isles are clear, clean, and well stacked, and the produce section is well kept. Some note a lack of Hispanic products such as rice, a staple for Hispanics. Long‑time shoppers, including those who have been coming since childhood, enjoy good service and give the store five stars.
I had a great shopping experience today thank goodness too because I was going to have to start driving all the way to Redlands I can't continue to shop at the one on highland and del Rosa until they get their act together.
