One of the last remaining teepee-style motels on the Mother Road: Route 66.

The Wigwam Motel is a terrific place to stay on Route 66, particularly if you have a kid or are really into iconic landmarks. We stayed for two nights and found it to be clean, quiet, friendly, and fun. It's a family run motel and it"s clear that they take great pride in maintaining the property well and taking good care of their guests. My husband and I highly recommend it!

Stayed in September 2019. I have been inspired to write reviews about places I visited before I discovered Google reveiws. It was such a fun and unique place to stay! You can tell this hotel inspired Sally's cozy cone hotel in the movie cars. The teepee are cozy and clean. The man at the desk was very nice and even gave us free snacks. It's not the best side of town but we felt very safe. Stay here if driving Route 66.Safety: Safe

The Wigwam Hotel is a nostalgic trip back the sentimental glory days of Route 66. They play up this theme once on their property. From the gift shop/office, individual teepee style room accommodations and well maintained surroundings with vintage vehicles in various array of conditions, this property wants to preserve the era of bygone days. They do hit their mark. The rooms are a step back in time. It's not difficult to imagine how a traveler would have felt and experienced staying in wigwam room in the early 50's.Rooms are very clean and well kept up. If you're looking to stay in a unique and historic location on Route 66, the Wigwam Hotel is your place. It's my understanding this is only one of three locations that still exist of an original seven that operated in their heyday. This location is number seven and last constructed. For me, for what was offered in a stay, they delivered. I enjoyed my time there.

Awesome stay at the Wigwam Motel. Stayed for one night with my kids and it was just cool. Literally stayed in a teepee :o) Obviously not a real one but still pretty cool. We had two queen beds and a TV. There's coffee and tea in the main office and a lot of cool souvenirs! The guy at the front desk (Madu I believe) was soooo super nice and sooo super helpful! Definitely recommend staying here! Especially on the Historic Route 66. Pretty Rad!!!

It's a cute place to stay but the couch is wore out. There is no place to hang your jackets no dresser, no hair dryer, noisy small fridge. Heater would kick the circuit breaker. When we first got here we were checking things out and found that some one had used the toilet and didn't flush. There was no place to put our toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable.Went to get ice and it costed 25cents which when I payed it the machine didn't work.I went to the office and he said that I will need to go across the street and buy a bag of ice from them.I'm pretty sure I won't be back here again.Looked like a fun place to stay.

Nearby activities: One of the Route 66 landmarks that is 1000% worth visiting! I’ve had it on my list of must-sees for years, and I’ll have to say - it is even more spectacular in person! ?
