They are miracle workers here!!!! I had a vintage dress that was WAY too small. I'm talking 3 inches. They were able to somehow add fabric from the lining to the seams and make it a perfect fit. The best part is, you cannot even see where they added anything. It is literally perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough. Very high quality work and transparent about pricing.

I moved to SF years ago and I still drive all the way to San Bruno to have my dry cleaning and any tailoring done here. Linda is the BEST she is so good at what she does I've had her hem and tailor so many of my things and she does such an excellent job. She's also very nice and reliable - never has she said something would be ready and it wasn't.

I went here after recommendation by people for a decently-priced seamstress. Although she did a good job and gave great input (like bringing your heels to the appt and about the length itself), I did not know it was cash only and was a bit surprised at how expensive it was. It was $125 for a quick hem and adjusting the straps. Not at all the price I thought it would be. Good turn-around time (2.5 weeks) and a good job overall but too pricey for the location and service

Linda is absolutely amazing. She is doing my wedding dress with intricate lace. She created the most beautiful 5 bustles that highlight the Spanish lace of my dress. My whole wedding party took their dresses here and everything fits all my girls so perfectly. ALWAYS ALWAYS go with Linda for wedding dresses- she’s a perfectionist and will always be honest about how to make appropriate adjustments that don’t change the structure of the dress but make the fit more appropriate to your body!Service: Wedding gown alterations

I had my elaborate wedding gown altered here and they did an incredible job. I've since brought more pieces to be tailored. The work is great and the prices are very fair.

The owner of the bridal boutique that I got my dress from recommended Linda, and Linda did a phenomenal job! I came to her about a month before my wedding to get my dress taken in, to have a bustle sewn, and to attach my off-the-shoulder sleeves, and Linda did everything perfectly! She has such an eye for tailoring, and my dress fit like a glove on my wedding day. Everyone noticed that I never pulled my strapless gown up during my whole wedding day! Linda also dry cleaned my dress, and she got my party stains off If you need an excellent tailor, I really recommend Linda!

What I'm about to share sounds unreal. I've been going to Brigettes for years. They've always done a good job, but the lady is so rude. I recently brought in a jumpsuit that needed to be hemmed and restructured in the shoulders. She only measured one side of the shoulder and one leg. When the alterations were complete, I tried them on and one leg was an inch longer than the other. She asked me, "why didn't you tell me one of your legs is longer than the other?!" And started going off about how I need to let her know these things. Instead of taking responsibility for the mistake she charged me $10 more so she could fix it! I tried to reason with her.... My legs are obviously not different lengths. But she was adamant and had so much attitude about it. My event was the next day, so I had no other choice but to pay the $10. Don't go here. There's plenty of other good places to get alterations with better customer service.

This is the best place to get alternations - the owner is very professional and exactly knows what she is doing! The service is no frills and cash only, but they'll get the job done right for a fraction of the cost compared with department stores or bridal shops.I'm a petite person and have had many pieces altered here over the years: from jeans and workout pants hemmed to a chiffon bridesmaids dress, and they helped tremendously with my wedding dress!I bought a dress off the sales rack at David's bridal and the seamstress owner worked some real magic on it! She shortened the bodice to hit my natural waist better, adjusted the shoulder straps, trimmed the hem to the right length and also added a bustle. The alternations came out perfect and my wedding dress made me feel amazing!!

NOT FRIENDLY. I called to ask for a quote which I’ve done in other places who actually know what they’re doing. The woman raised her voice at me and answered very rudely. Will never bring anything here for alterations or recommend anyone. I do NOT recommend it here, very rude customer service. I agree with the other one star reviews, they’re rude!

Came here to get a dress from azazie hemmed. It was too long and needed a few inches taken off. The service was quick and friendly. Took two weeks to get my dress back and was only $60. Definitely will bring back clothes in the future!

The bridal shop I purchased my wedding dress from recommended Brigette. Since it was last-minute off the rack & 3 sizes too big, there was quite some work to do on it. Service was a little iffy at first. The main seamstress was confused to why would the bridal shop sell me too big of a dress & that I should have ordered one closer to my size so there wouldn't have to be so much unnecessary work done. I felt a little embarrassed and taken aback by the comment & didn't want to tell her I'm pushing up the wedding so my terminally ill godmother/auntie/ninang/2nd mom with stage 4 lung cancer can be a part of my semi traditional filipino wedding. Also, I wouldn't be patronizing your business if I didn't need alterations done, duuuuuuh. I had a couple fittings done within 3 months of my wedding. I was losing weight & it had to keep being taken in. I knew it was gonna be tricky with restitching the lace lace, shortening & hemming all the layers of tulle, and taking in a corset top that was way too big on me. It all cost me less than $500 including tip. Come the day of, it fit like a glove and I'm very happy with the results.
